Another great away day performance. Well done to all who contributed. Sounds like Hughes had another solid performance. No nonsense performer, even down to his all black boots. Shades of David Batty. Does the dirty work, great work rate/does the yards every game, gets stuck in. Surely unless JPM keeps up his scoring rate this season POTY contender if he also keeps up his performances until the end of season ? COYP !!

"The ref..."

Rob Jones is the best ref in the league. I thought he got 2 decisions wrong today in the entire game, which he let flow. The first was ESR getting brought down but it really looked like he had dropped to his knees in an effort to win a free kick and maybe get a player booked. The other was not booking Robinson when we broke out, but in slow mo it was an excellent decision because Robinson went for the ball. Silva wen potty when Raul deliberately backed into Le Croix and we ended up losing the ball - the same offence that Lerma was booked for against LiVARpool, except Raul did it on purpose.

No, they were frustrated because we battled better than them, then they blamed the ref who wasn't buying any of their whining. It was a deserved win and Silva can f*** off.

Couple of other thoughts too...

If this ref did the Brentford matches, he wouldnt have put up with their DEF clown Collins' diving... which was the difference in both results.

Kamada is still horrible. Often just his standing flatfooted and stationary screws things up-- he has ridiculous slow reaction time. [... i think it was at Everton (maybe? it was on road after CP went up in like the 23rd minute), with CP up by 1, in around the 27th minute, Kamada missed an easy tap-in cuz he was standing watching the play like a statue. Chalobah (sp) had couple nice plays during his time at CP, but was a mistake machine too... i think CP has started clicking when he got called back to Chelsea]

Munoz is such a great wildcard. Even if he doesnt stand out in games, the guy makes super decisions.

Wharton is so smooth, makes so many low-drama effortless great passes, and is the opposite of Kamada.

Really fun team to watch. Things were clicking today.

I thought Will Hughes was magnificent and I’m pleased to see that he is now being recognised outside the palace fan base for his quality, hard work and professionalism. For me he is the player of the season so far.
