Even now when I watch the regular Channel 5 repeats I am in tears. The guy was pure genius. Simple, non-sweary and very funny.

OG doing a great job -our away record is amazing. HOWEVER - Our home record is crap !
If OG could just get that fixed - we would be top 8 - and he would be walking on water.

I’ve got a good feeling about Tuesdays home game against Villa. We certainly had their number in the final game of last season. 5-1 I think…and should have been more. I’ve got a couple of Villa mates and they’re not looking forward to it. Having said that Villa are also looking good so it should be a cracking game.

I've said before he's the sort of player that lots of big club managers probably wish they could call on but can't admit it.

I’ve always rated Hughes. The fact that he’s under the radar and unglamorous adds to his appeal. The sort of guy other players must look at in the dressing room before a match and think “thank god we’ve got Hughesy!

We won 5-0 against an A.Villa team who had precious little to play for having already qualified for the PL.

I watched his pre match interview where he said we were a very physical team. Hughes, yes, maybe JP in the oppo's box, but, no more than any other team anywhere.
 
Something I noticed, and kind of confirmed what I suggested in a post regarding Mitchell - Eze had Mitchell in plenty of space outside him waiting for a pass but instead Eze turned back inside and hit a shot that their keeper dealt with (as with an Eze freekick from distance a little while later). I'm more and more of the opinion that Eze doesn't pass to Mitchell, so... don't keep scapegoating Mitchell, he did a good job yesterday.
