Fulham v Crystal Palace match thread

Hughes and Eze were massive today. Everyone played their part.
Fulham created no real chances.

We just need to be this good at home.

What is the point of Kamada. I've tried to see a player in there somewhere trying to get out, but he is absolutely useless in all departments.

Please put him out of his misery Ollie and send him out on loan to, maybe Tranmere Rovers, where he can find other players at his level.

As for the game, we were brilliant today. Even Tony Cascarino thought ours was the perfect away performance. Hughes terrific again. Another excuse for an extra snifter tonight. If we keep this up I'll be registering with Alcoholics Anonymous.

And again he was our worst player. Really did nothing, weak in challenges generally, misplaced several passes.

Aside that everyone else was excellent, we really beat the s*** out of them. Looking forward to Silva moaning about it.
Like this you mean....

"In the first 30 minutes we arrived with the ball in certain areas well but the moments to create clear chances weren't there. After that some decisions went against us and there was nerves in the stadium. We gave many things to them that you can't do at this level. I thought it was a foul for the orner before their forst goal and moments like that can be decisive.

"The second half was really strange. The moment we made the changes, they scored a goal in transition. That was our fault clearly, we have to be more aggressive and kill it, with the rules of course. After that everything was more difficult for us.

"The physicality is for both sides. The Premier League is a physical game. I never saw, this season or last season, Craven Cottage complaining as much today about decisions. We like to be a physical side but today we were unlucky with the referee. It is not the first time this season. They can have bad afternoons and it was clear today was a bad afternoon for the referee."

How can a thread about a game in which we put in another excellent away display and played well as a team turn into yet again people having a go at a player who came on as a sub in the 75th minute when the game was largely won?

Let’s focus on the players who played so well, the fact Eze looked back somewhere close to his best and why we are so good away from Selhurst

Makes a change from Mitchell getting grief.

We all need a bit of debate in our lives so I do my best not to stick an oar in and let people have at it!

Slept from 4pm to 5:30pm today as I had the opportunity to do so. Also to save myself some agony.

Fantastic result and sounds like a fantastic performance. Nothing else matters for me today.

I’d temporarily retired my Palace mug, which was inconvenient as it’s a well proportioned vessel for tea, out of bitterness, sorrow and sheer pettiness. It’s back in action now which I am thrilled about. Not least because we’ve both been called the same thing throughout our lives…

COYP!!!!!!! Great stuff.

Assume you're referring to Kamada, so how do you rate him? I don't think anyone has written negative comments about any other player or the game itself.

The team was amazing but as fans and supporters there is nothing wrong in venting about an individual that too many people see is not of the required standard at this level. It’s part and parcel of being on a fan forum. The world would be a much nicer place if we were all nice alas the world is not a nice place and Kamada was rubbish. It’s not personal it’s just fact.

Don’t rate him particularly good or bad today as he only played 20 minutes and wasn’t important to the match. I’d rather focus on players like Eze, Munoz, Mateta and Lacroix who helped us win away against a team who have been in excellent form.

Sure thing. Nowt wrong with having opinions on players at all. I can certainly understand, for example, all the discussion about Mitchell last week as his performance was a key factor in the match. Just feels a bit odd to me to want to talk about a sub when we’ve just seen, arguably, our performance of the season. Each to their own though
