It will take front bench MPs to suffer a murder of their own to do something. Jo cox bought right wing extremism to the surface, Lawrence bought racism to the surface, now it needs a stabbed MP or their kids or wife’s to die. Only then will the reality sink in. A sad way for any change to happen !

Many carry knives for protection when you put gangs in the mix. Stop and search being allowed without being tagged racist( most gang stabbers are black).
Muslims carry knives to kill non believers. This board has different threads for different issues. Join the correct one and comment on specifics instead of labelling.

MP David Amess got murdered by an islamist. MP Stephen Timms was stabbed by an islamist woman. He survived the attack.

Do you want a lawyer to be able to be able to get his client off because he cannot be given a fair trial?

The key word is alleged!

I don’t doubt that the police would like to have countered the awful misinformation being circulated on social media by giving some basic general details. Not anything specific.

Whether the CPS warned them off doing even that is unknown, but it’s possible. It does not though excuse those who rioted because they allowed themselves to be wound up by incorrect information that pandered to their prejudices. We were all disgusted by the shocking events. Very few thought that justified trying to set fire to a building with people inside.

The key word is "police" who were doing the alleging. Or are they not being truthful?
