Just read that he expects to move and that Spurs have offered £55m plus £5m add ons. Also stated that Eze threatened to not play against Chelsea unless Palace honoured an agreement with him to let him go.
good post.
With Son gone, he can play in that left sided position and drift in on his right foot. An ideal position for him. Alternatively he is a great No 10 playing just behind the main striker with minimal defensive duties. Both positions are available at Spurs.
At Arsenal i'm struggling to see where he would fit in as their wide players usually keep wide and they don't play a standard No 10.
Absolutely not. He's on out-and-out 10, requiring a free role behind the striker. Putting him out on the left massive reduces his effectiveness. I thought that was common knowledge amongst palace fans?

Why quite obviously? He showed very little emotion on his face, said nothing and clapped the fans. As nearly all our other players also did. You're a drama queen
The dramatic one is you who is clearly in some weird sort of frantic denial - relax, none of us have any control over what happens, I just have a different view to you.
The first 15 seconds of the video below are from Stamford Bridge - I don’t see how you draw the conclusion that’s just a normal ‘away day thanking the fans’.
They been in europe for the last 10 years, they're consistently in the top 10 in the world for money generated, they've got arguably the best stadium in world football, 60k fans a week, its laughable you think we're more attractive.
Why does so many post before reading, i said the playing side, currently we have a better team than Spurs, yes they have more history, yes, they have a better stadium, yes, they pay bigger wages, yes, Eze's probably wants to go, but NO, we don't have to sell him, jeez.
It would not surprise me in the slightest if the deal is called off, this has all the makings of a MGW car crash episode. Spurs and Daniel Levy are not the easiest people to do business with. Remember when we were taken to a tribunal over the Bostock and Routeledge transfers, absolute nightmare and we got stiffed on both occasions.
Exactly how can a deal be agreed without the fee included. You can say that Spurs and Eze have agreed terms. But if Palace have not accepted Spurs offer it's all up in the air.
Palace may want X now Spurs say no it's Y over 5 years. So nothing has been agreed.
Too much smoke right now and I sadly believe that he is about to leave.
It is the way of the world in football unfortunately - I just wish that we had a replacement ready.
Very slow in the transfer market and it could be our undoing.

I see this deal falling due to Levy being, well, Levy. Every summer it's the same schtick. Poor brinkmanship by him at the table and then the fans round on him.
