Eze to spurs?

SNN emphasized again just now that Palace have NOT agreed to any deal with Spurs over the potential sale of Eze although they are in talks there is no deal imminent at this stage.

I'll accept being wrong if I turn out to be but I dont believe this is going to happen.

Eze will not go to Spurs, it will collapse because they won't meet the price, on that list of Chelsea players anybody fancy anyone on loan?
I think it will collapse because Spurs won’t meet the price like you say, or near enough to it. But you say it like you know or it’s definite. You don’t know and neither does anybody else. It might suddenly happen tomorrow.

Also, I don’t know if you mean Eze won’t want to go to Spurs or it’s because Levy won’t pay up. If you mean Eze won’t want to go to Spurs, you don’t KNOW that either.

Agreed, All we DO know is that Glasner has praised Eze's professionalism as has Parish. We know a deal is NOT agreed and we know Eze is committed to Palace until told otherwise.
We also know Eze has not agreed any terms with Spurs despite Romano continuously claiming that he has. In order to agree terms you need to speak with the player or his agent. In order to do that you need his club's permission. I'm certain Palace did not give permission for such talks therefore if Spurs did do that its an illegal approach.
After the MGW debacle I doubt they'd be so stupid.

No, i only think it will collapse because Levy won't pay the money

The other thing is Spurs are on the same level as us playing wise, if Eze stays, and a 2/3 players come in could you really say Spurs would finish above us, i don't think they would, so don't improve them, NO SALE

Kinda feels to me that Eze is being pushed out so we can sign some players?

Just the vibe I am getting. We know parish has been trying to sell him for over a season now aswell.

They been in europe for the last 10 years, they're consistently in the top 10 in the world for money generated, they've got arguably the best stadium in world football, 60k fans a week, its laughable you think we're more attractive.

What? Spurs will probably double his wages, maybe finish equal to us, but no doubt finish well above seasons after.

This thinking by some that we’re at the same level as Spurs is quite mad.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if the deal is called off, this has all the makings of a MGW car crash episode. Spurs and Daniel Levy are not the easiest people to do business with. Remember when we were taken to a tribunal over the Bostock and Routeledge transfers, absolute nightmare and we got stiffed on both occasions.

Im resigned to losing him but some of the comments in this thread border on delusion. Him going to Spurs is a good move for his career as they will be likely be pushing on for top 5/6 every season with a great and adaptable manager in TF who will not mitigate his individuality like some other system orientated managers : Arteta + Amorim + Pep. People believing that this is a sideways move are stuck in the past spurs are a club on the up.
