Eze to spurs?

He wants what Olise wants, but wont get it, Spurs are a complete mess, Its like Wilf going to Galatasaray, for his two rounds, in the Champions League, Spurs will not finish in the top 10, Yes, Arsenal, Liverpool abroad but not Spurs, if he does, and i dont think he will, its purely money, not very Chistian
Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others
It's pretty average of you to hold someone's faith against them in this way. Just saying. People are allowed to have ambition and aim for the top...even christians. These consistent little stabs are immature.

Or you can sell first and get held to ransom. I personally think you’re wrong.
Its a poker game asall business is when you are trying to get the best deal. All summer Palace have been tight lipped and indicated that we did not need to sell and would spend when the right player became available. This was presumably in the hope that anyone who wanted Eze or Guehi would not only offer good money to tempt us but to also move fast to get them before someone else.
Sadly, it looks like Palace have blinked first. Its becoming more and more apparent we need to sell before we can buy and Glasner has started politely moaning that this wasn't what was agreed which puts more pressure on the owners.
While I agree Palace's strategy while it could have worked didn't, as someone who runs his own business I'd never spend money I dont have when I have saleable assets that can bring in the funds necessary.
I really dont see how anyone can hold you to ransom unless it becomes common knowledge that we need the money. We dont need the money. If no one is told there are only a couple of players needed. If someone is sold we still only need a couple of players and a replacement for the departure. If that happens we'll then have the money to do that.

It's a very short career these guys have. Players go in and out of fashion in terms of transfer interest, as Eze will perhaps be sensitive to given no one has publicly come in for him in the same way Newcastle did for Guehi or Chelsea/Bayern did for Olise. He is 27 going on 28, and has been with us a few seasons now.

I'm not sure doing nothing i.e. staying with Palace for his whole career is a mindset we want in our high impact players: we want them pushing the boundaries and attracting attention because it means they and hopefully the team overall are doing well. It's different imo if you have a stalwart midfielder like McArthur or a brilliant servant for the club like Ward/Speroni, but with the goalscorers and exciting flair players you definitely want them pulling up trees for you. But when they do this well it attracts other fans and clubs.

Would Spurs be a great move for him? Not in my eyes. But there might be larger factors at play eg other clubs making noises somewhere he fancies. Unlike Zaha and Olise, I cannot see him in the same way moving abroad, but that would be great if he did decide his future was not with CPFC.

One thing which I do think is in the club's favour is timing: anyone moving will want to be sure they get consistent first team game time and bedded in very quickly indeed as there are England games and a tournament coming up next summer. In Eze's case it might be the last or penultimate one where he will be seriously at the top of his game. He is flying in our team in a team which is having unprecedented success. So maybe an extension is more likely than we think for players like Mitchell/Guehi/Eze - I certainly hope so.
