Everton Predictions.

do you think we'll come out of these games with 0 points?
If this season has taught us anything is that all are beatable. Maybe not Liverpool, they seem to be able to dig themselves out of holes even when they're not playing well.

And our run in is far from Horrendous: Of our last 8 games (Brighton, Manchester City, Bournemouth, Arsenal, Nottm Forest, Spurs, Wolves and Liverpool) only ManC, Arsenal and Liverpool you wouldn't expect anything from, but even then, not impossible. The rest are eminently winnable. So I'd expect a decent return from them, say at least 8 points from those remaining 5 games?
I’d say Bournemouth is much tougher than City. Fancy we could beat city and lose to Bournemouth

I know it's not scientific, but we are overdue for a home win, overdue for a win against Everton, overdue not to go behind and to keep a clean sheet at home, and Everton will hopefully be knackered after last night, as well as missing Doucoure and Ndiaye. So it's got to be 0-2 to Everton...,but seriously, 2-0 to Palace.

Apparently he's got a bifurcated cusp in his lower left premolar and a collusion of dentine in his adjoining incisor. I don't what the recovery time will be in terms of Saturday but he'll probably only need a local anaesthetic so a medical gumshield could well suffice. Hope that's helpful. 🙂
Are you his dentist 😀

Sometimes when there has been a heavy collision like that, especially head to head, it can leave a player with psychological damage as well as physical damage, the player becomes reluctant / hesitant to stick his head into a challenge whereas previously he wouldn't have thought twice about it -

9 might be a tad too optimistic. But I'd be hoping we could get 5/6.

But agree with your thrust, decent opportunity in the cup, would be good to be a bit closer to that 40 pt mark.

Obvs it would be good to finish as high up the table as possible (Especially with the financial incentive of £M per league place) but as far as relegation is concerned I struggle to see anyone in the bottom 4 places achieving more than 30 / 33 points total.

It's always hard to know how teams will respond after an emotional performance like the one on Wednesday; will it give them a lift and put extra energy in tired legs, or will our game feel a bit of a comedown and they will struggle to get motivated or find the required energy. I have a feeling it might be the latter and with Rolls Royce Wharton back in the midfield, the pace of Sarr back on the right, and the creativity of Eze on the left we'll win 2-0. With Chilwell and Esse signed and Franca returning from injury we're even starting to have the makings of a strong bench too if we need to change things up.

It's about time we finally beat them again.

Everton have improved under David Moyes they are going to be a 'Tough nut to crack'. I very much doubt we will emerge victorious in this game.
You may not have factored in that this will be very much 'after the lord Mayor's show for them and they will have left much of their energy on the Goodison Park pitch after the fierce intensity of the local derby they fought the other night. An even money home win in your fixed odds accumulator - should have us as your banker selection. COYP!

A combination of their missing players, our returning players and their turnaround time from what must have been a physically/emotionally draining evening on Thursday makes me think this is ours to lose.

Keep the game tight until half time and then batter them second half.

HT: 0-0
FT: 3-0

With no new injuries and returning players it will be interesting to see the side selected.
Mitchell or Chilwell, Lerma or Wharton, who drops from the bench?

I think Lerma and Mitchell will be retained, the former because of Everton’s physical threat and Mitchell because Chilwell is not yet ready to start.

It will be good to have a strong bench for a change.
