Everton Predictions.

Against these we always seem to lose focus for whatever reason. Hopefully that changes for this one.

Palace 2 Everton 1

I dont think its going to be easy, Moyes has got them fired up, but Everton had a heavy night last night against their neighbours, they had Doucoure' sent off ( so maybe he misses our game with suspension?) they have maybe 7 players out injured according to PL Injuries, so if you add all that together I think / hope were due a win against them - 3:1

We’ll have a full squad and should be firing on all cylinders. It won’t be easy. Moyes has inspired his players and at home we’ve been crap.
So in reality I just dunno.
Going to say 0-1 as I’m usually wrong.

Hopefully Everton will have spent a lot of physical and emotional energy after last night. Is Doucoure banned?

Anyway I predict 2-0 to Palace.

Doucoure and the other injured fellah will be missing. Plus there was a massive head collision between two of their players. They will all be feeling that gams still in two days time. Plus they got to travel to Selhurst. We the fans need to give them a load of stick. Still it could go either way.

They looked good against Liverpool but looks they took a lot of collateral damage as a result. A long trip to South London with a short recovery time and i think they are there for the taking given the lack of injuries at our end. I am going for a 3-1.

They took a battering in many ways last night. It is bound to catch up with them at some point on Saturday.

Sarr, Eze have had a couple of weeks rest - so no excuses

Palace 3-0 COY Eagles….

As a few have pointed out, Doucoure's suspension is a massive plus for us. Our midfield is great technically, but not great physically.

As is Ndiaye, he's been the difference maker of late.

Hopefully we'll start to see the benefits of a deeper squad, e.g. Eze and Sarr will not played for the best part of 2 weeks.

On paper this should be us. Lets hope it plays out that way!

Great ending to the game for so many reasons but in particular Everton’s doucoure missing from our game now. The midfield will be critical and ours is getting better with Wharton and Hughes. It’s going to be a good tight game Saturday
Hopefully we can just edge it but deep down i can see a draw

I think we should win this one - they have just played an emotional, exhausting game against their rivals, and although our home form is a bit shoddy we are at home and they have to travel, on top of which our key creative player (Wharton) is back in the mix and OG has a range of selection choices thanks to players returning from injury.
Home win.

Moyes has them playing better and they have good form, the wind at their backs and renewed confidence.

We are at home.

But it will be physical and brutal. I expect a hatful of yellows and possibly a red.

We should win given their absences, our presences, their travel and brief recovery period.

But I suspect Everton will eek out an undeserved but hard fought score draw.

It won't be pretty.

Without NDiaye and Doucoure, they'll sit back and we'll struggle to break them down, as has been the case at home recently.
Our defence will have plenty enough to deal with with anything they throw at us.

Wouldn't be surprised with a 0-0. but either team could nick it.

I'll be surprised to see him at Selhurst. Injured his knee I think.
Add Doucoure (suspended) to their list of 6 or 7 injury list on Saturday

Everything in our favour for this one. I think Ollie will have a plan. I’m going 3-1 Palace with O’Brien scoring for them and Eze, Mateta and Sarr all getting on the scoresheet

You say that like it is an advantage …

Let's hope Everton are a bit tired after their efforts on Wednesday night.
In our current position, a draw would probably be fine, but a win would be great.

We need around 6 points from 14 games. We still have Southampton and Ipswich at home to come, but our run in is horrendous.

The amount of times this type of thing is stated on this board implying we won't get anything from these games. We are Palace, our best runs are often within those tagged 'horrendous' !

Who said that?

If you think that points at City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Spurs and Liverpool are likely then good for you.

Hopefully we won't need them.

do you think we'll come out of these games with 0 points?
If this season has taught us anything is that all are beatable. Maybe not Liverpool, they seem to be able to dig themselves out of holes even when they're not playing well.

And our run in is far from Horrendous: Of our last 8 games (Brighton, Manchester City, Bournemouth, Arsenal, Nottm Forest, Spurs, Wolves and Liverpool) only ManC, Arsenal and Liverpool you wouldn't expect anything from, but even then, not impossible. The rest are eminently winnable. So I'd expect a decent return from them, say at least 8 points from those remaining 5 games?
