Dublin - Tickets / Travel / Accommodation / Meeting points / Local knowledge

Just received a mail from Shelbourne regarding their match tonight...as I did the 3 match bundle purchase to sit in there end come our match...they say, any away fans regardless of purchase will not be admitted inside home sections of stadium etc.etc....at that rate their won't be no-one in the home end come our match..! A charm offensive maybe required come match day....?

A mate of mine went in on our tickets last night. Reassured me we’ll be fine despite the CEO email saying away fans in the home end will be ejected.

He also recommended bringing all weather gear as our seats (in 104) were not covered. Could be fun in December
I had a feeling I'd chosen an uncovered block. Guarantee no home fans in there. Too cute. I should have thought about it more but there was just the glee of getting a European ticket.

Doesn't really matter where you sit. The rain rains diagnolly in Ireland. And the roofs on the stands there don't really provide much cover anyway.

Went to watch the Shelbourne match yesterday. Filthy wet night and finished 0-0. Block 102 didn't have many empty seats. Block 101 was about half full. Lots of empty seats in other parts. 4 behind me were Palace supporters - the lad had a palace top in under the layers. The Swedish visiting team had about 100 fans in the South stand away end - will be a different volume in December!

Flights booked - Tuesday till Friday (returning Friday afternoon so I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn after the game) -

Coach from Airport to Dublin City Centre Booked -

Staying at the Lansdowne Hotel -

Dont have a ticket for the game, was too late for the Shelbourne 3 in one deal, in so much as I was travelling & by the time I was home & decided to take the plunge remaining tickets were very deep into home team territory & didnt feel comfortable taking the risk - Over the last few days I see at least one poster has received an email from Shelbourne indicating "no away support in the home end" judging by how many tickets the Palace contingent seem to have bought I struggle to see how they are going to police that, but that's another story -

In any event I will be hoping to get a Palace away ticket somehow - not enough Parish points (3250) so its going to be someone's last minute cancellation or I will watch the game in the hotel bar or some other local sporting / drinking venue.

Incase people have bought tickets in the home end and swiping away the shelbourne emails when they pop up. The last one was important.

They have sent out new tickets and cancelled the old ones that we have.

I’ve received my email update but there isn’t the link to add to Google or Apple wallet as there was before?
Dodgy airport WiFi, the wallet link is there

Looking at the ticket allocation and the phases for the Strasbourg game. I think it was a definitely a good idea getting those tickets in the home end 😅

A little disappointed tho as I would liked to have sat with our fans and wear a palace top to the game. Maybe wear my hat to the game and shove it in my pocket when I get to the stadium.

Looks like I have 2 single adult tickets in shelbourne home end going spare...face value..€20..each .
They are not together, but my mates are season ticket holders for shels...they can't see any problems about palace fans or moving around, anyone interested...message me!

Palace fans in kimmage

Hello everyone,
I am normally on the BBS but have ventured on to here on occasions.
We are running a coach from central Dublin to the game and then back to Dublin after. We have already sold one out, but now have about 15 people wanting seats, so we are looking to do another one. It is going to work out about 20 euros for the return trip if we can get the numbers. Anyone interested???

Missed out on these as was not keeping up with the shels site. If anyone has spare(s) please DM me.

If I get in the away ballot can give back or pass on to other palace fans, thanks.
