CPISA are surprised at the level of price increases being applied to season ticket renewals for the coming season. Having led the way as the only club not to raise prices last season this change in direction and the level of increase applied is disappointing as we understand from the FSA (Football Supporters Association) that a number of other clubs have frozen prices or applied very low increases for the coming season.

I'm sure I read in the renewal email from CPFC that the increase in prices were agreed with the FAB.
Do CPISA have anyone on the FAB ? If not, what influence/voice do you have ?
The information from the club said that they had discussed the season ticket increase with representatives from FAB.
CPISA do have a representative on FAB but if you want to know more details about those discussions you need to ask the clubs FAB.
As for being Influential this is limited, CPISA can only make suggestions through our representative and mostly the clubs fans advisory board seem to be complicit and non confrontational.

A couple of interesting points here:
The club said "The pricing model has been discussed with representatives from our FAB" the important word here is discussed, not agreed. Big difference.
Also it seems, although the club do engage with CPISA or at least have been, they would prefer to only engage with FAB - CIPSA are quoted as saying "The club expressed a wish for the FAB and CPISA to work closer together" also in the last minutes CIPSA say "the club advised CPISA that it did not wish to cover topics that had already been discussed at FAB meetings"
So seems FAB didn't agree/support the increases {the club would have said so if they had}, the club want CIPSA/FAB to work closer together - there is no ONE voice for supporters
PS: Personally, no issues at all with the increase
PPS: CIPSA do a lot of good work and from what I see, probably much better than FAB

I'm concerned that yet again i had to apply for a plastic card even though i proved last year that i can't own/use a smartphone. Hopefully this is just a formality and it is on record now and i just get sent one.

CPISA have just changed our FAB (Fan Advisory Board Representative) going forwards to Sandy Weller.
Sue Maisey will still be continuing her vital work for CPISA and all Palace fans as well as attending FSA (Football Supporters Association) and club management meetings.
Keith Powell has joined the FSA 'UEFA working group' in preparation of hopefully what is in store for us all to enjoy next season!

More positive new - keep up the good work
CPISA asked the club about Season ticket waiting list- There seems to be a lot of supporters who are unclear of the system here? Does the club carry over anyone who registers in previous seasons and maintains their number in the queue? Or do supporters have to register each season to refresh their place in the queue? Or is the queue renewed each season? Or does the club choose people from the queue to email for any season tickets that become available? Some clarification would be useful. This is the answer that came back from Paul McGowan Head of Ticketing yesterday.
Yes, supporters who didn’t get a chance to buy a ST last season have retained their place and will be contacted by the box office if availability goes to their place of the waiting list.
Just to give you idea we had close to 2500 supporters who were on the waiting list last season who didn’t get a season ticket. With such a massive renewal phase only 300 of these lucky people will get a season ticket this season. We have emailed the first 300 people, and we will work our way down in date of joining until we have sold out.
This year the churn of Season Ticket holders is particularly low, if you took the previous 3 seasons you there would be an average of 1400 season tickets available, even with that supporters who join today could be waiting for around 5 years to get a season ticket.
In the 10 years of running a season ticket waiting list we have never had so much interest or had so many questions. We are going to writing some FAQ’s around season ticket and away game waiting lists so it will be there for everyone to see going forward, we should hopefully have them published early next week.

We did talk about the general dissatisfaction with the commemorative FA Cup Final Ticket and the surprise that supporters were finding that is was a 'plastic card' with a lanyard and not a ticket at all.
Also having raised having 'programme vouchers' to sell last season, got the club to issue them and and found they sold out very early. The club have just issued a larger batch for this coming season as well as the usual deliver at home service. So voucher bundles are available to buy from the club now, but stocks will not be refreshed so once they are sold out that's it.
Also there have been problems posted by supporters on their season ticket installment plans-incorrect calculations made showing incorrect payments due to be made than owed being collected by direct debit.
CPISA were not aware of the dd collection calculation amount problems arising yesterday before our meeting commenced but we contacted the club this morning and they have looked into this and have been contacting those affected by email.
The club have ensured us that no money will be taken from anyone's bank account until their accounts have been checked and rectified.

- CPISA have been working with the club re the PA system for couple of years and we’re glad to say that after trialling a new system last season, a long term replacement system is been installed.
- Following issues last season with Invicta K9 security company. A new operator is to be appointed.
- Programme vouchers are back and the number has been increased this season. They are on a first come first served basis but you can still get them if you contact CPFC customer serviced on box office no.
CPISA have spoken to Paul McGowan today (15.8.25) re the ticketing issues for the ECL home match on Thursday.
MAIN STAND
He has confirmed that everyone in the Main stand who may be affected by seat displacement should have received an email. Where displacement occurs Paul confirmed that other seats in the main stand have been reserved and fans will be contacted and offered alternative seats once it is known how much of the allocation is being taken up.
Seats affected are as follows
Block F rows 15-19 have definitely been allocated to UEFA and will be used by away team for family and others, some seats may come back to Palace and be available but for this match but they wont know until a couple of days before the game.
Seats that may be affected and will know nearer to the time are
Block F rows 11-14 seats 165-174 and rows 12-19 seats 148-162.
We would recommend purchasing your reserved seat if you can and working with the club to move later if necessary, that way you secure a seat, but see Paul's email below for the options. We also raised that their may be people adjacent to the seats who would need to move eg child, spouse, elderly relative and Paul confirmed that this will be accommodated.
The number of affected seats will increase as we progress in the competition because a higher number of seats have to be reserved for UEFA. That will also include some hospitality seats who will be displaced and will require alternative seating to be found as UEFA also require a level of hospitality seating as well.
This is just for the first match the club are looking into
LOWER HOLMESDALE
The Holmesdale Fanatics are being moved to the front of Block E for Thursday's match and about 120 seats are involved. People who have season tickets in those seats should have been contacted by email from the club to advise that alternative seats have been set aside for them. We asked if it was possible fans could just simplify switch to rows further back into the vacated HF seats in the same stand and Paul said yes and that other seats had been set aside in the Lower Holmesdale.
