CPISA updates

According to XE currency converter Nok 10000 is equivalent to about £734.00

so if your in breach of the peace, swear at a copper, ignore his instructions, then pee in a public place you could have cost yourself a very expensive evening.
Blimey! Newcastle Council could solve it's financial problems for the next 5 years on one Saturday night in the town centre.......

Unfortunately, it seems CPISA are being marginalised by the club. It seems the club favour and encourage dialogue only through FAB.
That would be an awful shame as CPISA have done some excellent work in the past.

CPISA have been contacted by many fans regarding issues relating to ECL home ticket prices and process, we are in contact with the club and will update when we can.

We met with the club on 30th September, we submitted the notes of our meeting to the club at the beginning of this week as it is agreed the club can review prior to publication. We hope to have these back shortly. We did discuss a broad spectrum of issues and there are some successes in there, which is always rewarding. We’ll let you know when they go live.

We’ll also be publishing details of our upcoming AGM very soon. We’d love to see you there as it’s a way for YOU to meet and interact with our committee, see if YOU'D like to join us, raise your issues and help us plan and prioritise our work. We are also hoping to offer the opportunity for people to join us remotely for the first time, for those who are not local. More details shortly.

INVITATION TO PALACE FANS TO JOIN US FOR OUR 2025 AGM

Our AGM will take place Tuesday 28th October at The Victory Club, 227 Selhurst Rd, South Norwood London SE25 6XY
Doors open 7pm for a 7:30 pm meeting start.

The meeting is open to all Palace fans regardless of whether you have joined CPISA or not.

We hope Palace supporters can join us on the night because:
  • It’s a great way for us to connect with supporters and find out the issues that are most important to you
  • It’s a forum for Palace supporters to meet and get to know our committee.
  • It represents a chance to consider if YOU would like to join our committee.
  • It’s a way to get to know the work we do and successes we’ve had in the last year.
  • It’s your chance to help us to grow - a strong independent fan voice is important and the bigger our collective, the stronger our voice.
  • It’s a chance for members to take part in the vote electing committee members.
If you’re not able to join in person you can email us on info@cpisa.co.uk and request a link to joins us via Teams.

Special Guest

We are very pleased to have Matt Woosnam from The Athletic joining us for a Q & A session, your chance to quiz him on all things Palace.

More info is available on our website at Crystal Palace Independent Supporters Association

Notes from our latest club meeting in September are live on our website. You can see them here Crystal Palace Independent Supporters Association

There are some additional AOB questions that we submitted post meeting due to time constraints and we are waiting for the answers to some of those but will chase next week and publish separately.

Some successes
  • The handrails in the upper Holmesdale have been sourced and will be trialled with fans consulted.
  • Within the additional AOB items we submitted post meeting, we requested the trophy photo opportunities be reinstated which has been done.
  • Safe standing will start to be introduced in the away section of Arthur Wait during this season. The club will then consider other areas once this is done. (CPISA recognise that this is more difficult in other areas as there will be a mix of people who do and don’t want this where they sit and for the club it will be a bigger process than simply installing but we will continue to work on this.)
  • The club are going to highlight the change in step depth in main stand at row 16 as people often stumble there, not realising the change.
  • As these were so popular, the club will look at providing packages similar to Strasbourg for future ECL matches. Worth noting these are not income generating for the club, similar to provision of coaches for domestic away games.
We’d be grateful for some help in getting the message out to Palace fans, so if you’re able to share or repost our X post (https://x.com/CPISAinfo)
