Brighton vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Actually thought Kamada was decent when he came on. Bit better than Eze....
Nketiah got the assist for the third?
You are of of course entitled to your opinion however I think you must have seen something I didn’t because for me, Kamada was terrible until the last 5 minutes when he had a couple of contributions.

He marks space really well, except that doesn’t work in The PL and the game passes him by. He kind of reminds me of Puncheon. Not the Puncheon in his pomp, but the one in his last season with us when he was awful.

I think it will take some pretty incredible displays for Kamada to convince me he is any good at this level of football.

That result has put a smile on my face for sure, that will last all Christmas. Thanks boys, job well done.

Footnote - I hope I'm proved wrong about Kamada, and I definitely was about Mateta (although I got Edourd right). Got to give a big plus to OG as well, he had been getting some stick, but he's pulling them around.

Brilliant result. Saar looks like a decent right winger. Play him there. Defence is solid. Henderson for all his faults is a great shot stopper. Wharton to come back soon.and fully fit dacoure. Plus additions in January. I believe nketiah will be fine when he gets a couple of goals. And combine w his mate Eze. Only looking up. And still in 2 cups. What a great time to be a palace fan COYP🥳

Fantastic result! I'd just like to mention Henderson's contribution - when we signed him, I (and others) wondered if £20m was a wise investment when we already had a capable keeper. That said he obviously wasn't arriving just to keep the bench warm. Since then he's pulled off some amazing saves and kept us in games at times, and today was no exception.

A shout-out,too, for Daniel Munoz who I thought was ace.

Interesting how dangerous Route 1 seems to be when you have fast, strong strikers.

Think it's between Henderson and Hughes for player of the season so far.

Sarr coming good now as well. Even thought Nketiah and Kamada were lively coming on.

The fact that we're now picking up results and doing so without Wharton and with Eze nowhere near his best is very encouraging.

Fantastic win, brilliant end to the weekend!

Every season we seem to have one result that changes things.

I realise we’ve only lost one game for a while now (albeit many draws) but today felt like that early Christmas gift.

I was genuinely quite gloomy if not resigned. Not sure I’m full on optimistic now but my mood and outlook has certainly shifted.

Absolutely brilliant. COYP

Brighton player feigning a head injury after a light contact challenge from Henderson. Cringeworthy.
Im pretty sure Hendo never touched his head.
Then the 'push' by Sarr that cancelled Munoz goal. Their bloke dived.
They were a load of cheating pussies. Thoroughly deserved a good hammering.

You constantly criticised Henderson, that was foolish. Give the others time, Sarr is now performing, others will follow, Glasner knows better than you.

Back when I criticised him he looked weak and was nowhere near the quality of Sam Johnston. Many others agreed at the time. I am very VERY happy to getting proved wrong. However this forum is for discussions and for joy and on more occasions than I care to remember moan and criticise.

I don’t think it’s ‘foolish’ to have done so back when he didn’t look very good and was a fraction of the keeper he appears to be now.

As for Glasner knowing more than me. I should bloody well hope so.

I bet he can’t develop property as well as me though 🤣
