Sosa has 3 yellows(2=1 red). He collected 1 yellow v Fredrikstad & 2 yellows(red) v Kyiv, so still 1 yellow.
Mateta 1 yellow.
Hughes 1 yellow.

3 yellows will result in a 1 match ban followed by 5,7, 9 etc, wiped clean after Qtr Finals no carry over.

I think Sosa is suspended but he is left footed anyway. I think Cardines is being groomed as an understudy to Munoz so on the right.
People often get way carried away with home grown players ability. I really would love to see Cardines be one of the next youngsters to come through and stake a claim and there must be some potrential there for Glasner to be willing to use him but though its a good thing he is starting to get minutes it is way too soon to say if he is going to be a big player for us or not.

Larnaca thrashed Az Alkamaar 4-0 in their previous game, and the Dutch are no mugs.

I think we'll find it tough on Thursday. We'll scrape it 1-0 if we are lucky, but 0-0 won't surprise me.

Yes I actually watched a chunk of that game because I knew we were playing both and they both looked poor, at least alkmaar had an excuse I suppose

I couldn't watch the whole game either. I thought the standard was awful. The Alkmaar goalie reminded me of women's football goalies. I noticed AEK had some pretty experienced players. They seemed like maybe League One level at best. Frankly, both looked worse than that.

Sometimes its more difficult against 10 men, or so the professionals say! I think we need to be on our guard and its obvious they can score - but we should be miles better, I just hope we show up...Colchester a few years ago still bl00dy haunts me ha! Its never boring being Palace is it!!

Just looked at their records.
They also beat Partizan Belgrade and Legia Warsaw earlier this season.
Their games seem to have a lot of red cards, thankfully our saintly squad seem hard to rattle.

Agreed about Clyne . We need to keep everyone in the squad involved and this looks like a game that we can use a few players that are on he fringes of the first team and rest our main men .
