Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

I cant even watch that. Jordan nearly took us out of business and yet he has the brass neck to criticize the bloke that saved the club from his financial ineptitude, reunited the club with the stadium, built an academy/training ground anyone in the world would be proud of AND delivered the clubs first ever TWO trophies!
I'm not going to kick Parish while he's down but......Then starts kicking him while he's down! Knob
SJ can talk sense sometimes but does love sound of his voice. Agree he lacks credibility attacking SP given what happened at palace

Still no word from Parish or club. Is it me but just feels strange
...and still no statement or announcement from the club with the first Conference fixture which is scheduled just over a week away.
We're clearly reserving our position and still exploring options, even if it's unclear what they may be.
That's fine , but I hope Steve is still available to take calls on transfer activity!

I believe that Steve Parish should ban Evangelos Marinakis and all UEFA representatives from entering Selhurst Park.

We should also outbid forest on any players they are interested in, would be great to do what the spammers do so well to us.

Charge the forest fans £1000 each for the game at Selhurst Park so to reclaim some of the lost revenue from being demoted.

I hope the reason for the delay in a statement from Palace is that they have some compelling evidence against UEFA.

Parish mentioned that Palace was the only party obliged to make full disclosure at the appeal.
Presumably this means that e.g the correspondence between Forest and UEFA or Lyon and UEFA was not disclosed.
CAS in the result merely stated that Forest was not treated differently, but how is this evidenced?
We know of the links between the Forest owner and UEFA.
Then there is the issue of the Lyon relegation and sudden re-instation.
And then there is the bizarre last day result that saw Lyon's qualification in very odd circumstances.

I may be a conspiracy theorist, but the combination of all these circumstances look decidedly odd.

I won't be disappointed if Palace can highlight corruption at the heart of deeply flawed UEFA.

There's two parts to this for me.

1) I'm not upset we won't be playing Europa league. It's too demanding on our squad right now and our league position will be compromised as a result. I'd actually rather play Conference and have a good crack at winning it. So in actual terms, I'm not disappointed with this result.

2) I am a man of principle and the injustice is what I can't get past. It's such blatant BS on every level. I feel like we've been completely made an example of and common sense and empathy has fallen by the wayside in favour of, UEFA not being seen to be defeated. It's everything that's wrong with football.

Those two points are the tension in my head right now. It's not fair. But I'm kind of relieved at the same time.

Ugh
this ... should be the last post on this thread. If Parrish wants to sue UEFA good luck but we just need now to concentrate on bolstering the squad, replacing Guehi, maybe Eze, and building that new f*cking stand.

From Today's Independent.
Forest's legal team were allowed to cross examine Parish on the control issue.
Very odd. Was Textor feeding them the info? How would they know the workings of our club?
I make no bones about it.
It's the Forest owner who has engineered our demotion with a complicit UEFA.

Precisely! And taking part in their miserable competitions would now make us complicit in legitimising and endorsing this thoroughly corrupt and criminal entity!

I don’t think anyone should overlook the fact that Steve Parish has gone to hell and back over this. And if you have had the misfortune of dealing with lawyers in a court hearing, you will know that they will go straight for the jugular! They are highly paid A1 predators, and he was cross-examined by five of them! The whole process is exhausting, and is never forgotten.

He looked totally drained last interview he gave on Sky

Steve did look drained when he was interviewed after he left the hearing.
A challenging time for him at present.

He is a seriously nasty piece of work. If this was Chicago in the 1920’s he would be investigated for tax evasion!

I hope the new football regulator tackles people like him and bans anyone from holding a share in an English club if they have any interest in another anywhere. The fit and proper purpose test needs to remove characters like him. So I hope it can be done retrospectively and him given time to sell, or return his shares at face value. If that costs him, so be it.
They welcome all who are unfit and improper! This is the real barometer football authorities use, because there’s always plenty of dirty money that slushes into the proverbial drain of football clubs that corrupts everyone and everything it touches. Just look at how Forest and Man City fans react, and you can see how this is manifested.
