I’ve moved on. If I had to choose between beating Liverpool, winning another trophy, and giving Devenney the highlight of his football career along with the Conference League — or losing at Wembley but qualifying for the Europa League — I’d choose the former every time.

Secondly, that Lyon, having been confirmed as relegated miraculously get that decision overturned
Finally, the fat guy sending a communication to UEFA re our situation.

It's not just UEFA, CAS confirmed that in their view Textor had decisive influence. It is in their press statement. Marianakis intervention would have had no impact. He was just doing it to be the 'hero' for Forest fans
I asked, and posted here, chatGTP weeks ago for the chances of us getting anywhere with UEFA and the prospects of success were given at around 30% - so worth a punt. Revisiting that now, there is no appeal to CAS - their ruling is final. The Swiss courts sometimes would be an option but they only rule on procedural irregularities which do not appear to be in question here (<5% chance of winning). The final option is seeking damages from Textor and/or UEFA which would have some chance of success but would obviously not put us into the Europa
To my mind, the best option is to move on and for Parish to concentrate on the, more important, transfer dealings which have been neglected. A little humble pie from him to supporters would not go amiss, either
The best way to get anything positive out of this is to win the Conference League and construct a film script on the shenanigans that could be sold to Netflix. Then use the money to buy us a decent back-up to Mateta

Disappointed that CAS feel the rule is workable hence there ruling , decisive influence is part of that rule , yet is not looked at , look up the legal wording on decisive influence , and Textor had no were near it ,
But it is what it is , will wait on CAS write up on why they come to there conclusions , that wont be seen until our legal team read through it with a fine tooth comb , reckon 3/4 weeks

I suggest that the answer is a simple UEFA are only interested in rewarding league positions despite the EL replacing a cup winners competition.

You won't until they have received full reason , if they quote one reason that they addressed wrong we can challenge , but we will still only be playing conference as its to late to change , but doubt if CAS haven't covered it all

Thanks that makes sense ( one of the few thinks that do at my age 🤣). Think we have a good chance to win Conference and onto Europa next season
