Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

November 2024: Lyon get provisionally relegated to Ligue 2.
May 2025: Palace win FA Cup
June 2025: Lyon's relegation confirmed
July 2025: Lyon's appeal is successful and they remain a Ligue 1 club and presumably are free to compete in the Europa League

3 Questions:-
1. Why was the cut-off for share jiggery pokery moved back from June to March?
2. If Palace should have rectified their share position before actually winning the FA Cup why should Lyon be allowed to rectify their debt position after they had achieved their final Ligue position and potential Europa Cup entry?
3. What penalty has Lyon been subjected to for breaching financial debt parameters, or is it a case that you can do what you want until you are found out, rectify the situation, and get away without any penalty?

I rest my case..!!

I investigate Fraud for a living - I found this in a few Google searches and DNCG think this is acceptable..!!

Forest have a vested interest in Lyon remaining in Europa so that they replace us - Lyon needed £170M - I stopped believing in coincidence a long time ago..!!

As I said corrupt to the core..!!

We would have a good case if this goes to litigation/CAS..!!

COYP..!!
What about this one!

The media has reported that Lyon has won their appeal but I have not seen why?

Okay I know it's a stitch so the why doesn't really matter but it would be nice to know.

How did they conclude that a club that clearly broker the rules err didn't. It's not like they have reduced the punishment e.g. point deducted but not enough to relegate them. They have gone from guilty to innocent so why?

And this, my friend, is the key question. What was the real motive behind the deadline for MCOs being brought forwards to the 1st March?

Who knows? Fining a club who already owe half a billion seems a bit ironic.
