Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

It says a lot about Parish with his company name when dealing with the loans and selling of Jake O'Brien to Molenbeek, "Smoke and Mirrors Limited".
I know, it was almost like he was giggling about it. It's what I'd call my company if I was money laundering right under everyone's noses. Bet he regrets that name now!

Reading this (and other threads) there seems to be little love from posters for the American owners.

And yet the question could reasonably be asked would we have enjoyed the success of the last dozen or so years without them?
The longest unbroken run in the top division and the first major trophy in our history.

Of course Parish’s shrewd management and the contribution of the players and managers have been hugely significant, but at times the Americans have provided an influx of funds which enabled successful transfer windows and the tying down of long term contracts for key players.
I’ve no doubt that we’d have struggled without these funds.

Ideally we’d just have local fans/businessmen like Steve Browett owning the club , but that’s unrealistic when they don’t have the money to compete at the level we are operating.

I’m certainly more content with the model (for all it’s flaws) we’re employing than those employed by the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Forest and City.

This is not a defence of the American owners, just an attempt to put some context around their contribution which in my view has played it’s part.

What I don't quite understand is why is it assumed that it's Palace that will drop out and not Lyon ? Even if being demoted to the conference were an option then surely our achievements are far greater than Brondby's, so why wouldn't they be the ones to drop out ?

League position trumps all domestic cups, apparently.

a bit like awaiting the results of a blood test, chatting about it only makes things worse. My only question :

when will we know for certain ? the Europa League fixtures will be announced when ?

I am still hopeful that we will not be entangled by Michel Platini and his evil minions.

The author of the article at the top of the homepage reckons we'll know by 15th June

The referees ignored a blatant handball by Theirry Henry, which created the last-minute assist and caused France to qualify for the World Cup. They were a rubbish squad and subsequently eliminated quickly.

French clubs, french rules.
