Tomiyasu does a job....but doesn't have the leadership of either MG or Max. We are in desperate need of a leader at the back. The jury's going to be out on Disasi for a while!

People on X talking about 'good business' should stop watching football and open a shop or something.

It’s called fantasy football, internet football making fantasy decisions.
Cant blame them really as major league football is beginning to resemble fantasy football.

Sage has now on two interviews explained that Sarr has a groin injury and will be out for a few weeks.

So….if we did accept an offer , surely he would fail a medical anyway?!?!

They sometimes don't fail on minor injuries. Depends on how much the team wants them. I'll put it this way: we buy injured players regularly enough.

Perhaps I have an unfair view of human nature, but I think Sage is trying to protect the player.
He could hardly accuse Sarr of fibbing.
If he moves to Liverpool I expect a recovery like Lazarus (not Mark).

It's clear something's going on. Only solutions I can think of is (ones that might work) - big new contract for Sarr with release clause for next season.
Sell Sarr to Liverpool but insist on Gakpo coming here - maybe Gakpo with Liverpool to make a wage contribution + 35 mil for Sarr. I actually quite rate Gakpo. Maybe I'm crazy. I presume he wouldn't come here and the deal is impossible.
More likely we'll sell Sarr and get someone undercooked like the Wolves guy. Or the Swedish winger.

I think they full well realise everyone knows. The outbursts are meant for an audience. Mainly the club, presumably.

Just 10% less effort and he can kiss goodbye to any big move, it makes no sense for him to not put in 100%. Reject all bids and he will just have to get on with it.

There's an easy solution for him, he can quite easily put in a transfer request, he wont tho as he will lose all bonuses. The big move is all so important for them, untill it affects them financially, then its not quite so important.

But we've seen players down tools and still get the transfer.
