Keep Sarr unless he is doing a Mateta/Isak and adgitating for a move. If is being a prima dona get rid for as high as we can get. Hopefully it is just his agent being a dick and spreading rumours to get a payday. Sounds like he is injured unless Sage or Sarr are really good liars.

Liverpool wouldn't give a second thought before trying to mug us off (again) so why should we do them any favours?
The game has got itself into an awful state where a contract is just a negotiating tool rather than anything meaningful and the money boys can use everyone else as their scouting system.
Has it always been the same? Possibly but not to this extent and the media don't help by eulogising managers who spend hundreds of millions while their clubs are a billion quid in debt and the fetishization of the misnamed Champions League has convinced players, or their agents, that a career depends on playing in it.

Hopefully he doesn't have a 50 million buy out clause in his contract like Olise .

You think the players are all staying then?
No doubt this was your view with Lacroix too i.e negative reporting without confirmation ( until it actually happened)!
Players who the fans like are being sold , so yes that's negative news, even if the reasons are understood for the moves.

Well I wish we would/could grow a pair but what actually happens is something different and its not just happening to us. Which tells me that we could never get that kind of money for a player like Sarr.

So we sell for 55-60 million or we reject the bid, the player throws a wobbly and we have a useless player, to us at least, who underperforms on the pitch and upsets the balance and mood of the team. Or we could be lucky and he gets his head down and scores another 20 odd goals for us..

Is there another scenario?

He is going to go, against most peoples wishes, take as much as we can can, sell Mateta and divide the money between all HOLers how have posted more than 200 times 😎

Didn't think Chelsea , and was surprised he went there , but I never make assumptions that 1 rumour leads to departure , sarr one is strange in alot of ways as everyman and his dog have not put a serous bid in , according to some outlets , we as a club lose top performers because of our standing we can't stop that ,
Our recent glory come about by luck , when we brought them we hoped they would come good , Sarr we have been after for years , thats why I will never right players off when they just arrived .
On here that doesn't count , blinked thinking , if a new signing doesn't impress from game one I look at what they done right , easy to spot what they done wrong . So my friend thats how I view things before stamping my feet 😍👍🏻

We're obviously entitled to reject it but I'd be surprised if anyone offered more.

And it's only six over 35m. purchased by a PL club . Aubameyang at 56m could replace Kane in the top 4. But inflation is a major factor. Shevchenko at 29 went for 30m back in 2006
