We also lost Richards at pretty much the same time as Munoz & Sarr were out, so at that time the right side was extremely seriously depleted.

Richards cut his foor v Arsenal just before Christmas. I think he missed 2 games and was back v Villa in early Jan.

Not sure this can be used as an excuse for our terrible form/results from mid Dec to mid Feb.

Yes a few other players were out too, but that's why you have a squad - players get injured and suspended etc.

We lost one player to Afcon, yes an important one, but again we knew Sarr was going about 18 months beforehand.

Ultimately our squad players are not good enough and haven't been for some time.
