Glasner will be gone tomorrow, McCarthy will be manager for the Chelsea game, I can bet my mortgage on that.

Such a shame how this has all panned out. Glasner for my money will still go down as our greatest ever manager but he has to go. As frustrated he is with Parish/The Board, you deal with that in private and professionally. Publicly outing the situation is not good for morale or attracting a new manager or players, which we really need.

He's forcing an early exit and we have to give it to him.

How about suspended on full pay pending a club investigation into potential gross misconduct?

That would show how seriously the club take his behaviour and the damage it has done to the football club and our prospects for the rest of the year and in terms of player retention and recruitment beyond that

There should be non-disparagement clauses in his relating to conduct - they are pretty standard especially with jobs with media facing duties

I expect Parish is checking through these options with the lawyers though whether he would implement such an action would take careful thought and agreement with the majority shareholders

It’s a sad state of affairs .
Smaller clubs uncover and polish the gems the bigger clubs might of missed out on .
It’s no problem for them as the smaller club will develop them .
Always circling they then swoop in and take apart a team that might of won the odd cup here and there .
I’ve always wondered if we had been bought by zillion airs from UAE the stadium rebuilt to Tottenhamesque proportions and becoming one of the top 6 vultures ,how this would sit with many of the fans .

Which is exactly what we do to clubs lower down the leagues and across europe who don't have the finances we have.

If Glasner didn't have previous I could understand his outburst, but it seems he's done this before and whether he is right or wrong about signings the fact is he knew, or should have known, all about the chairman, the board, and how the club is run and operates.

For most clubs in the Prem their main income is tv money, which I thought was quite fairly divided up?

The financial rules are now weited heavier and heavier in favour of the big 6 clubs and more and more to the detriment of teams that aspire to achieve. Like Palace, Aston Villa, etc. The Brightons and the Brentfords will find out soon when it comes to clubs ous size there is a glass ceiling. Get too successful and they'll find ways to slap you down

I think his outburst yesterday constitutes gross misconduct and my cynical side thinks that Glasner knows this also and was a deliberate act. I have a strong hunch that Spurs are in the mix on this.

No one has turned on Glasner. It’s Glasner who had turned on Palace.

After all the dreadful recent results we kept faith with him but yesterday’s outburst was unforgivable. If that’s truly where he is at in his head then we are better off without him.

I was a big fan of his during his time at Brentford and would have liked to see him at Palace when Roy started to struggle. However, his first few months at Spurs have been disappointing to say the least, but I would support a move for him as I reckon he'd fit into the Palace way with more success.

Glasner publicly said when he arrived that he'd told Parish he didn't come to the club if its only ambition was consolidation. True to his word, when the club failed to invest in the squad in the summer he decided they were unwilling or unable to match that ambition and he told them he would leave at the end of the season. I imagine this came after the club looked to replace Eze on the cheap. Glasner's exit would probably have ended amicably were it not for the lack of investment resulting in us ending up with only 12 fit senior players and our form plummeting. We didn't stop winning because Glasner's tactics were found out, we stopped winning because we only had one player left on the pitch who could score, and he is carrying a knee injury.

I've always backed Glasner because it's hard to argue against the success he has brought us, and all while playing pretty decent football, but I can't understand what yesterday's outburst achieves for anyone. He seems to have real issues with accepting defeat, which in some ways is probably behind his success, but right now the fans needed some calm-headedness after a turbulent 24 hours and he let us down. Given the circumstances, he has put himself in an untenable position, whether intentionally or not.

While a lot of disgruntlement will be targeted at Glasner today, the sad fact is the club have made a right hash of their transfer business this season. If you don't have much money was it really the best decision to sign two players with no experience (Uche and Canvot)? To sign a left-back who has been out of form for two years? To sign a right winger to replace a left-sided attacking midfielder? What should have been an amazing year for us has been let down by poor decisions and now we will have to try and limp over the line. If the board also decide to sell JP this month then they might want to stay away from the ground for a few months.

If OG said we should have had more cover at RWB and a back up for JPM then I’d agree. Continuing to raise Eze, a player who wanted to go, we got a record fee for and replaced with a player who has more international caps and more international goals than Eze is not really a great case.

When did we last play pretty decent football, its been slow and turgid this season, same plug and play 3 at the back even when we didn't have the players to play that way, even yesterday chasing the game he sat on his hands and watched them dominate us,

No, I don't think anyone expected a £50m spend on one player.

And you can't like for like replace Eze.

I thought Glasner's comments were remarkably open and honest (in his opinion). It's refreshing to see a Manager pulling no punches. You can't build a racing car when some of the tyres are worn, and someone's stolen your engine.
Football is a rather unique business, where heart often rules the head. I still think Glasner is the best option for seeing out the season, because getting someone else at short notice is going to be a panic solution. A big wedge of luck would be needed.
I've said worse to my bosses, to their face(s). Some bosses left before me, sometimes I was out the door soon after.
Whatever happens next is going to be great viewing. I'm thinking retaining Glasner at this point might be difficult, only because of the reactions of Palace fans on match days.
At least it's distracted me from issues like Greenland and Starmer. Palace is far more interesting 😀

My point related to the fact he's gone from being viewed as the greatest thing since sliced bread to the worst person in the world in two short months which seems a tad excessive.

And standing back from the situation, do you genuinely believe the squad he has been given is fit for purpose over a 60 plus game season?
