Sadly the move also makes sense for Palace if we can be say £30 plus million better off than we would be in the summer.
That would be enough to buy another Ahamada and Franca and leave change!

Ideally you'd want a bidding war between the top clubs for fear of missing out.
Buying an £80m plus million defender for £50m below market value sounds a no brainer to me.

True, the amount of clickbait before the presser were all saying about City & as someone has pointed out even the bastion of all truth, the bbc, are also reporting the same, not sure about Sky.
