Nothing against Hendo but goalkeepers tend to be captain because of length of service rather than anything else.

Can't have a 'goalie' as one & even if he was, another player would have to be nominated, so he could be in contact with the ref. Just my opinion/tanners worth.

Agree Teddy and Eagleman with the concerns having a goalie as captain, it's never been something I've supported. Henderson is a brilliant personality so that is the only reason I'd consider it and it would be more of a ceremonial role than anything.
I've always liked a CM as captain for that reason, and I love Hughesy. That's why he'd get my vote.

You have to look at the money in the light of how it is going to affect our league position. We are only 5 points behind Brentford but eight places worse off - which is the equivalent of 20+ million in revenue. Plus it must reduce our chances of winning the Conference. He has also been as creative as anyone on the team this year
