I’d completely forgotten about Riad. Being out for so long I’d be surprised if we see him play much for us rather than being quietly released. Hoping I’m wrong. Anyway Ake would be a good, solid replacement for Guehi though imagine he’s in big wages

Depends on whether it is a loan (with City paying a chunk of his wages) or permanent. Looks like he is on 160,000 and contract to end of next season

He is usually hard on himself. Maybe he's annoyed he had to step up when none of our attackers are finding the net lately.

Maybe we are reading too much into it. Although he did get grumpy with Glasner in the Chelsea game earlier this season.

Yeah I think it’s part of his character. I thought he was less excited to lift the FA Cup than Edouard was to win the Charity Shield. He didn’t really celebrate the winner against Fulham with joy.

His interviews are pretty dead pan no matter what. It’s why I wanted him taking a penalty.
