I posted similar after his first game. He realised within ten minutes he wasn’t fast enough or strong enough for the PL. since then every game he has got better with his speed and agility. His card count may become a concern but mavericks won’t be angels. I agree he could be our game changer and relish what he will bring to the table.Out of the mist a new hero is emerging - Yéremy Pino - just turned 23 this month, he will become our new franchise "marquee player," he has everything required to become the best, still developing, needs to be stronger, a bit quicker and less prone to rash back tackling, but he is the real deal imho.

Agree, he is adapting to the Prem but he is clearly a classy player - his first touch is very impressive.I posted similar after his first game. I think only Sarr is a definite. Uche a maybe and Riad pretty unlikely. With the Afcon coming up, we are going to lose Sarr,Riad and Uche.
Does Glasner go with Devenny or Kamada on the right?
The Standard is quoting Glasner that he wants to add 'one or two players ' in January taking into account the impact of Afcon too.
Let's hope this time he's not disappointed and that the player(s) will be trusted by him.

Not yet but we are not a third through the season and cups etc. I’m sure their time will come. Maybe if we qualify in Europe for knockouts and 20 odd points on the board.I think its clear we need some more help in the forward positions.
We've started to rotate a little in CM, and canvot is providing good cover at the back. But Uche and Esse not getting a sniff.

It’s a nice feeling that we’re not actually far off both these targets, a couple more points in Europe should at least gaurentee the play off round end of feb and 3 more points in the league 😎Not yet but we are not a third through the season and cups etc. I’m sure their time will come. Maybe if we qualify in Europe for knockouts and 20 odd points on the board.
OG will feel better to give them their chances.

Glasner said on more than one occasion recently that he trusts all the players in his (matchday?) squad otherwise they wouldn't be there. It seems, the system is all important for Glasner and it may be that he wants the fringe players to become fully conversant with it before he will let them have more than a 5 minute cameo. I expect to see both Uche and Esse getting minutes later in the season. In the meantime we should remember that Glasner approaches every competition with the aim of trying to win it, hence his preference for a smaller squad who know their roles. AS has been said elsewhere - not dissimilar to Pep who also demands a smaller squad. Not yet but we are not a third through the season and cups etc. I’m sure their time will come. Maybe if we qualify in Europe for knockouts and 20 odd points on the board.

The Prem table doesn't lie, we have drawn more games than won, which in a way is good as it means we are hard to beat, and as Parish has stated remaining in the Premiership is vital for the club.Do you get the feeling we are focusing our thin squad on the cups? I can see why.
Forest showed last season that, by the last quarter, resources will out. Notwithstanding how good you are, you will fall away and out of ECL contention unless you have the juice like the rich few to make it to the end.
Given our finite resources, we will suffer the same fate. We are knackered now and we have yet to start our 6 week run of a game every 3 days.
Going for the cups and riding the league is sensible. After all, looking back in a few years will you remember winning the Conference League / League Cup; or regret the fact that we finished 9th instead of 6th?

I have not seen enough of Uche to make an assessment.Agreed on all points.
Uche is a strange one for me because when he has come on he has looked a handful. At times a juggernaut with no one at the wheel, perhaps, but someone who definitely could mix it up if we need an impact sub or if want to go two up top.
I could well see any of our first choice front three (and especially Nketiah) feeding off the second phase from someone like Uche but time will tell.

Only City and Arsenal have conceded less. The Prem table doesn't lie, we have drawn more games than won, which in a way is good as it means we are hard to beat, and as Parish has stated remaining in the Premiership is vital for the club.
Trying to juggle our resources to cover all competitions is a task for OG, and thus far he's doing well with what he has - I think when we play so many games in a short period we will see what we are made of.
England
Sure, and it means we are competitive to make a game of it. We create chances but currently don't put enough of them away to turn the draws into wins - basically it's comparing Haaland to Mateta.Only City and Arsenal have conceded less.
I have seen Lacroix interacting with fans in the main stand before leaving the field (it may have been with people he knew) and he clearly enjoys geeing up the Holmesdale. I like him a lot, if you could catch his eye you might have some luck.speaking of our squad - has anyone stayed behind after a game and watched them warm down... any chance they come over to fans if they have like a sign or something... I'm travelling over from Canada and would love to see my boys get a high five from a player or two...
Was thinking about staying behind after the game, hoping to catch them as they leave the stadium maybe... any experiences with this?
