Villa v Maccabi

It's surely about looking to avoid dangerous situations occurring.

It obviously is about fans being Jewish. Plus an Ultras group who have a history of inflammatory behaviour. It obviously is about the match taking place in a large muslim community. To ignore those facts would be irresponsible. Like I said the easiest solution, as with many cases in football is to ban the away fans. It's not great but I can't see a better way of avoiding potential conflict.

What do you think is the best way to proceed to avoid any issues?

It's exactly what they wanted. All part of the long plan to take over yet another country

There are posters on here who can't post anything positive about anything. I try and contribute on a range topics including news and politics. In 20 odd years here I've never been called names as I have recently. So something ha gone wrong, as Bournemouth get a 3rd

Contribute? You make sarcy and provocative comments of little actual value

So Israeli teams should be banned from any club where Muslims live.

Just what they want.

How about the police doing their jobs.

The next one was against Besiktas and it was moved to Hungary who were the only country to accept hosting the match without any fans, this from todays Times. All because of what happened in Amsterdam the paper reported.
And the other 4? Maybe this has something to do with it?

I'm not sure, I wasn't aware that the Turks refused to host the game and it was played in Hungary behind closed doors. So a lot different from what had been posted earlier upthread.

Looks like all their games are “away”

I stuck up for another South coast poster who was getting attacked on here for being an alias who seemingly had history. Turned out to have been a complete falsehood and he still posts on here.
Why do you feel the need to " stick up " for others? Do you see yourself as a beacon of goodness and fairness , protector of the weak on this demonic and unfair message board.

Do you get a warm glow defending those incapable of defending themselves ( in your opinion )?

Simply responding to what you'd posted.

Anyone who does not see a problem here is the problem, you can have a day off work if you don't want to be near jews, it's extraordinary

AntiSemitism & Jew hatred seems to be rife ? some people want to avoid them at all costs - either that or have a stinking row with them ? Imagine if we put these Jews working at the Dole Office or elsewhere ? Frontline NHS workers ? Fast-food Health Inspectors ? would that be good for Equal Opportunities ? Or would there be scenes like we saw this month at Milan Train station ?

what steps can be taken to make the UK a tolerant society ? at peace and harmony with all the different segments of Society ?

Football.........all the posters & campaigns to stamp-out Racism, kick out prejudice....etc. Is it sincere or just hot air ?
