Medical every day for the next five days 😍If Pino is tomorrows medical, I hope tomorrow we hear of someone else (prospective palace transfer in candidate) having a medical on Friday

Do EU nationality players now need a visa to play play in the Premier League? Wondering if the club will need to de-claret.Sorry, i was gonna make a wine pun but i bottled it!!

And the tariff.as long as we don't have to pay vat
Yes, up to £26m sounds like it might be £20m fixed fee plus bonuses - that is a decent price given his track record but no doubt partially due to previous injury
Everything crossed for the medical
It could be but a ruptured Achilles is serious too and Arsenal thought Eze was worth the risk. Fingers crossed the potential upside is big enough. That's my concern. He is an absolute steal at that price but a torn ACL is a major injury. This signing could be a bit of a gamble!

EU players are treated the same as players from any other country in the world. So they need to pass criteria to get a work visa. Usually to do with number of internationals etc so these work immigrants are not classed as stealing jobs from other UK citizens. Not sure footballer is on the critical jobs list but if you have the money you can migrate to any country in the world and bypass the rules that stop the rest of us moving to the US, Australia, the EU or wherever.Yes they do since Brexit.
He will meet all the requirements no problem and the clubs etc will find ways around it anyway for some of them.

He is a youngster should be alright for a few more years!Pino, has been a seriously good player, hopefully still is . Just wonder why his club have let him go for the sort of fee we are paying. People say we can’t replace Eze, but if this boy retains his past form he will get close.
He won’t sign a new contract with them and only has 2 years left on contract.Pino, has been a seriously good player, hopefully still is . He just played much of last seasonThat's my concern. He is an absolute steal at that price but a torn ACL is a major injury. This signing could be a bit of a gamble!
Bit of a slow season for him by all accounts, but was reported to be more or less back to his best by season end. You would hope that the injury is behind him as it was/is with Eze.He just played much of last season
And the tariff.
It's pretty easy. Most clubs pay +10m for a player they want. We never do. But this summer has been extra crazy. Mediocre players going for 30-50m+ Thats is just madness and not something we should do.Why is our transfer 'activity' always so tortuous? Chelsea, Liverpool, Citeh buy players at will. Of course, they have much more money than Palace, but even given that we prefer to shop in Aldi rather than Waitrose, so to speak, it's still painful.
1. We identify a target.
2. West Ham buys him.
3. We agree a fee with a club.
4. We agree terms with the player.
5. The medical takes four days and still fails to screen the likes of Ferguson and Franca.
6. In the last twenty four hours of the window we try to sign two players on loan...
No wonder Glasner, probably our best signings ever, is peed off. He won't put up with this nonsense for long.
