I'm disappointed the beauty has passed you by.So many nothing teams the fixtures look like Burnley vs Southampton to me most nights. I.e.: coma inducing rot.

Frankly, international football is rarely as good as decent club football. So many nothing teams the fixtures look like Burnley vs Southampton to me most nights. I.e.: coma inducing rot.
Scotland
Remember when Ron Greenwood had six Liverpool players in the team in the 70's for a game against Switzerland (who weren't the giants of world football they've since become) and we drew 0-0.Frankly, international football is rarely as good as decent club football.
I genuinely wonder how Southampton or Burnley would get on if they played the international sides at the world Cup?
They'd definitely get through the groups and I reckon it would take one of the top ten sides to beat them. Just a guess, but always consider club sides play together every week. The football's almost bound to be better. Obviously, Palace would easily win it, but FIFA continue to block our entry.
