You do know, that there is NO appeal process for cautions/dismissals under world cup tournament rules. There is however under FIFA rules & therin lies the problem, article 27.

Recorded match and watched it early morning. Up to this one Ive wanted those countries with Palace players in to do well. With Trumps interference I so wanted Belgium to win and cheered every goal Belgium scored - Felt for Richard’s but this was the correct result for football 🙂

I was trying to explain to my missus that wanting one team to lose more than the other is a big reason for watching games in which there is no direct interest. Pure schadenfreude.

No way was that 2nd Egypt goal a foul. The player chucked himself to the ground after losing the ball. The hold of the shirt was slight and had nothing to do with it. Happens all the time in penalty areas with no foul given - grrrr!
