It makes a lot more sense if you look at it as them buying a stake in the value of the Premier League rather than in Palace. For them buying into a smaller Premier League club is a bet on the value of the Premier League continuing to grow. If the value of the league grows by 20% then so does their share in Palace.My gripe is with the board. With three of them USA billionaires, why spunk millions on buying minority shares in Palace, but then not investing in any significance to build a team around some exciting foundations that have now been sold off. Really makes no sense to me at all.
