Villa v Maccabi

Whilst we have a governing body whatever its shortcomings they (the stupid F.A. in this case) should be the people who decide when away supporters are banned or not it shouldn't be within Aston Villa's gift to decide. It is a way of taking an unfair advantage if there are no away supporters to lift their team.
 
So the local MP organised a scenario where Israeli fans should be banned because of the trouble they might cause in the area and the unease that the locals might fear. Newsflash: they are not coming so why are 700 police being deployed to keep the peace?! Islam Rules OK…

They will answer for themselves, if they want to, but if you are referencing the placard shown earlier could I suggest you look again.

It specifically refers to Zionists and not to Jews.

Although some here, and elsewhere, conflate the two, they are not the same.

The big question, surely, is why did they feel the need to be out protesting? There were no Israeli fans there. Are they/ you saying the team are all Zionists? If not please explain the need to protest

In my experience it is those who want to call others anti semitic who conflate zionists with Jews - and they know they are doing it for political gain.

For example criticism of the Israeli government is called anti semitic by those wanting to make political gain.

I flatter myself and everyone else on here, that we know the difference and don't conflate jews and zionism.

The key point is the pro Hamas Free Palestine mob want Israel destroyed and all the Jews that are there.

That's much more important than arguing that criticising the Israeli government is not intrinsically Jew hate, that's a subjective issue
