It's an obvious Public Safety concern, this really isn't rocket science. As someome pointed out loads of other clubs supporters get barred from matches for previous bad behaviour, and nobody complains. This is normal.

IF Maccabi fans didn't have a reputation for violence, disorder, islamophobic and racist chants, then you might have a point about anti-semitism. Unfortunately for you, they do - as perfectly demonstrated by their local derby being called off BY ISRAELI POLICE due to rioting and risk to life. Does that make the Israeli police anti-semitic??!

1. It's not genocide. There is no ICJ ruling, so keep your bigoted views to yourself.

2. Russian teams or athletes should not be banned.

3. Lots of teams have reputation for violence but are not banned.

Should Chinese teams be banned from the Olympics/ World Cup ? Or is it just Israeli teams?

Can anyone on here please give me an example of when, foreign fans have been banned from attending a match in the UK. Eastern Europeans known for their racist views? Roma fans known for violence, Dutch fans known for violence. I can’t think of any other petition raised against those fans, happy to be proved wrong

1: that's your opinion - and not one shared by the UN, Amnesty International, or about 40 nation states. So I'm not alone in my bigotry at least

2: Well, they are. Which somewhat sets a precedent in the current context.

My views are irrelevant - you’re a moderator actively telling someone not to post on the forum because you don’t agree with their views - how is that appropriate?

At the same time, as ever you have zero to say about the abuse and personal insults flying about from people who share your point of view.

Maccabi fans regurarly sing songs about killing kids and raping women. If that's who you really want to defend above all else, I'm gonna leave you to it.

1. The only body that can determine a genocide is the ICJ. It was a report from a body of the UN which is not a judicial ruling. As for the 40 countries, virtually all are Islamic or left leaning and anti Israel for political reasons.

2. Russia’s teams were banned after invading a UN member and breaching international law - backed by global consensus. Israel isn’t in that category.

3. I think it's happened just once in England in the last 25 years.

Have I ever said they don’t have an “element”? I don’t think so. Has there ever been a petition raised by a local MP calling for the banning of a group of supporters? I don’t think so, so why in this occasion?
I will leave this with you, again, should Chinese teams be banned from sporting events? Should Nigeria be banned from sporting events?
