US Politics

So you’re all allowed to stick up for each other and Wisbech gets his daily gang abuse but someone else isn’t allowed to stick up for me? Got it.

As long as you’re happy with your site going further down the online US right sewer and continuing losing many a decent longstanding poster because of it then not much the rest of us can do about it.

I was simply pointing out your double standard. You complain about a circle jerk - and you are in one yourself!

And why should I show you any respect when you keep making comments like this about the site? Nobody cares what you think.

Well given that ad revenue drives sites like this I’d suggest you should care if posters are being driven away.

This is a fan site representing one of the most multicultural clubs in one of the most multicultural parts of the country. It should be as welcoming as possible, not a safe haven for the hard right who chase away anyone that disagrees with them.

Negative.
I read it and have always thought it likely the consumer will pay a lot of the costs. It is ever such.
For the USA this could mean high prices remain and that is never good for a government. Although I have a feeling US inflation is slightly down from the Biden government. I haven't particularly looked into it so could easily be wrong.

Stop stirring up trouble. If you don't like this forum, go elsewhere.

Great advice - you're dealing with Trump supporters, absolute idiots! Therefore no point hoping to have a sensible exchange with them. They infect the site of the team I have followed for 55 years.
The looney wokie liberals have infected the world I have lived in for 35 years 🤷🏻‍♂️ you can't have a sensible exchange with them either 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's a nice change the pushback of late.

You say that as if it were a good thing?

Lovely advice to give to a member of the site for 19 years too.

The biggest looneys in the western world wear red caps. The even bigger ones are the ones who aren’t even American and wear them.

It's going off topic, but would love you to explore this in more detail.

Remember Wilf? Ivory Coast born who moved over to south London as a toddler and came up through the youth system to essentially carry us in the Premier League for a decade?

Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Parents from DR Congo but Croydon born. That £50 million essentially built the new youth academy and training ground.

Victor Moses, from another refugee family, growing up in Croydon and going to Whitgift and his transfer fee helping us stay afloat.

Steve Parish embracing ‘south London and proud’ with Wilf, Sean Scannell, and Jonny Williams on a billboard as our early identifier and differentiator in his ownership to show that this is *our* part of London and what makes us ‘us’.

The HF with members of all sorts of backgrounds and very representative of the local area now globally recognised as one of the best fan bases not just in this country, but the world, with the support and tifos. Not even Wembley, but week in and week out.

But yeah, other than that, what has multiculturalism ever done for Palace?

Happy to have talent at Palace regardless of where it comes.

However:

Next time some says that health tourism is an over blown media storm and not that big a deal remind them that this 1m is not included in the figures.

Where we are now as a club is in no small part to the multiculturalism of south London.
That's just a daft assumption. Just like the idea that the NHS would have collapsed if we hadn't had mass immigration and that the country would not have recovered from World War II if we hadn't had a few bus conductors from the Caribbean.
