It is what it is Dan. The US is trillions in debt. It's not sustainable and something would have to give sooner or later. If not with Trump then someone else years later.

Of course stock markets are going to drop. But they will return. Best thing to do now is for world leaders to get around the table and work on a trade deal. This will then lower the tariffs.

Tbh if you study a pension 20 odd years before you collect it you need help as it’s a LONG TERM investment which can rise or fall. ( it’s in the small print). That is really a form of OCD. You’ve had it less time than when it’s due probably.!

Maybe now it's a good time to top up your pension Dan with an AVC. While the markets have dropped. When they recover you would have made more money. Hopefully you have some time before you retire.

But if in ten years it’s 500% higher and the USA impacted it you will be good with it.
SIPPs are ok but it’s still a guessing game.
But tbh with 25 years I guess you can’t chase it now only go 50 high and 25 medium and 25 low risk. All low risk will still have no guarantee as that will have small print as well.
