Biden couldn’t do anything about it other than stand aside and allow the Justice Department to do their job. Which was stymied by obscurant delay tactics.

It won’t change until Congress changes, and when that happens is up to the voters. Unless the dire warnings about Trump prove correct. Which I doubt.

There is a new episode of the BBC podcast “The Coming Storm” being broadcast at 1.30 pm today which will be followed by a live Q & A. Deliberately timed to be the day before the inauguration I suspect it will suggest that the storm arrives tomorrow.

If he follows through on the threat to raise tariffs then inflation increases and the economy declines.

It’s deeper than that. There are people convinced that the scenario in the Matrix is actually happening in the USA. They are being fed lies and preposterous conspiracy theories on a daily basis. Some of which are either emanating from, or spread by, people about to assume positions of power in a new administration.
