I don’t think that’s true. I think that Act has existed for many years without any recent amendments.

Trump poking his nose in is all that’s new. Why is the real question. Could it be that it’s because his current 2nd best buddy was born in SA and has been chirping in his ear?

Closing down the Voice of America makes about as much sense as if the UK closed down the BBC World Service.

I suppose Musk thinks X now represents the real voice of America and Trump thinks his daily doses of self indulgence on Truth Social does.

If this is Free Speech so was the Reich Broadcasting Corporation in 1930s Germany.
