Unfunny 'comedy'

Friends, Not Going Out and QI ... Alan Davies? Miranda, Vic of Dib, Rob Brydon, Mrs Brown, McIntyre, Norton, pretty much anything on BBC apart from Vic Reeves, and that blond bloke called Howard whose surname I can't remember whose Dad must work high up at the BBC, anything by Richard Curtis, Mel and Sue, Sandi Tosvig, Joe Pasquale, Bobby Davro, Jack Whitehouse, that news show the second rate HIGNFY chaired by Dara O'Brien on BBC2, that's Mock the Week. Ed Byrne. Alan Carr. Alan Carr. Alan f***ing Carr.

If you mean Russell Howard then he’s fvcking terrible as well.

Stand ups who are funny but have only done a few acts (that I’ve found recorded) are Micky Flanagan and Romesh Ranganathan.

‘8 out of 10 cats’ was a funny show imo. Sean Lock was excellent on it.

No, not at all.

Dead parrots, lumberjacks and some silly fecker whacking his car with a branch because it won't start. Drivel.

Fawlty Towers couldn't have been that good. They only got away with making about 12 episodes.

It's all in the eye of the beholder I suppose, but I can't stand Cleese. A Fish Called Wanda - wadaloadashit.
On that we agree.

Yet I quite like Clockwise.

John Cleese is a master of nervous tension humour. If that is not your boat...

Russel Howard - never laughed at anything he's ever said. Not once. Ever.

I'm of the opinion there is no 'unfunny' comedy. Just not funny to some individuals. It's a very personal thing. There are a few things I do not find funny - but someone must or they wouldn't keep putting them on telly. Apart from Rosie Jones. She is definately an exercise in box ticking.
