Yes, clearly she is.I think he meant to say the racist abuse. Is Butler a racist?

You deny that Thatcher was formidable?Haha! You do make me laugh so much! Haha. Keep 'em coming.
Is the correct answer. Shame the poster Iaddressed the question too, hasn’t been able to come up with an answer yetYes, clearly she is.
Apologies she did admit being wrong,I only saw an eighty or so second extract on this interview but did she admit she lied? I heard her say she was wrong to say taxes would not need to be raised. Her context was that her statement was made before the extent of the public finances black hole was known. Specifically, the black hole in the public finances which had been hidden from regulators and Parliament (debatable, I know).
You could argue that it was stupid to make such claims before knowing the actual numbers after having been elected to office. But unless she admitted to lying elsewhere in the inteview I thought what she said was quite reasonable.
Badenoch is not just disliked. She does not command respect because she is just nasty.
...and again, you look at what preceded Thatcher and it all makes sense. In the early 1970s, Britain was 'the sick man of Europe'.You deny that Thatcher was formidable?
I suspect that that says more about how the good folk of Bilston North now regard Labour rather than any judgment they may have made about the change in Conservative leadership. How on earth was a James Cleverly going to win back Reform voters?
Reform just winning the Bilston North seat on Wolverhampton council from Labour during a vote on Thursday by the way.
Anita Stanley secured 652 votes, almost 200 more than Labour who only narrowly beat the Greens. The Conservatives polled 257 votes to come in fourth.
Yes, clearly she is.
Perhaps....I won't pretend to know anything about the place.I suspect that that says more about how the good folk of Bilston North now regard Labour rather than any judgment they may have made about the change in Conservative leadership.

The abuse of Badenoch by the Left is similar to their abuse of Thatcher. Their abuse of Thatcher was because they knew how formidable she was. Similarly their abuse of Trump.
Boris let us down badly on immigration.Anybody else wondering if a certain Tory ex-PM is looking at Trumps story-arc and wondering if he can make a comeback as well?
Boris let us down badly on immigration.
The mood music has changed. The public will want a proper right wing government to reverse the insanity.
Many Labour voters already know they made a huge mistake.

So what?Is it abuse or criticism? Badenoch does not come across as a particularly nice person and is very confrontational.
Funny enough the 'left' hate Starmer as he is not left enough for them - the Guardian appears to be one of his biggest critics.
As for Trump, he is on a different level. The lies and really nasty criticism of his opponent (low IQ, a communist etc etc) are barely reported yet when he gets any criticism pr challenge the people are just nasty or liars etc.
Yesterday he said he would eliminate inflation - yes eliminate it. Unbelievable.
is 80 + million 'a few'then???Totally untrue.
Thatcher was disliked, but respected and even admired by her opponents for having fortitude and principles.
Badenoch is not just disliked. She does not command respect because she is just nasty.
Trump is in another category completely. He is universally loathed as an unprincipled idiot by everyone. Excepting the very few who seem to approve of unprincipled people.
My wife watched them and said she asked him something like, "Would you leave Trump alone with your teenage daughter?" which suggests she knows very little of Boris's history.I don't disagree. But Johnson is a genuine political phenomena. And a man who definitely see's for himself not only a potential second act but also a third and a fourth. I also noticed he was on the C4 election coverage (sitting next to one Stormy Daniels - lol - what we reckon on him at least trying it on with her in the Green Room?). Now not neccessarily a natural choice to pick (and I cannot imagine him not having had offers) but still he goes into what is/was a Lions Den for him...
I would never vote for the man again in a month of Sundays but plenty who still would.
I thought Badenoch came across well in PMQs. I know the whole exercise is a waste of time but she looked miles better than Starmer. Which probably doesn't say a lot as some things on the pavement look better than Starmer.
