Picking out any single action as evidence of climate change just being a tax scam is so obviously stupid that it really needs no comment.

I don’t come into London very often but so far as I know the intention behind the levy is to encourage the use of public transport. Reducing emissions helps not just mitigate climate change, albeit in a tiny way on its own, it produces a healthier environment and less congestion.

The earth is undoubtedly in a rapid warming phase, unquestionably caused by man’s activity since the Industrial Revolution.

And therein lays the problem, effectively shutting down any debate because somebody says something is unquestionable…the rest of us have other theories.

I am no longer in contact with her. She has worked in both China and New Zealand since I was in touch and is now at Oxford University heading a department there advising major businesses on how to plan their futures.

This idea that climate change is just an excuse to raise tax is so obviously ridiculous it hardly needs an answer.

The changing weather patterns alongside the rising sea temperatures and melting glaciers is more than enough evidence that the observations of climate scientists from all over the world are correct.

Climate change is no longer a theory. It has now become an established fact. Everything we are now observing is man made. Natural change is so slow that it cannot be observed as it happens. It can only be detected over extended periods.

It doesnt produce a healthier environment at all, it encourages more people to use the underground, where the air is something like 6x worse than overground.

Undoubtedly in a rapid warming phase ? Says who ? Because I've read from experts who say its in a cooling phase, ive also read from experts who belive the earth regulates its own temperature. So what experts am I supposed to listen to ?

That some people have other theories is also unquestionable! Not the “rest” though! Just some outliers.

That other theories exist is as old as time. They are inevitable but that doesn’t mean they are valid, let alone correct.

I am not shutting down debate at all. It’s unquestionably true for me and, I believe, to the vast majority, that man made climate change is real. No one I have any respect for questions it.

You can believe whatever you wish. That’s your prerogative. However, I won’t be joining you and nor do I think will most others in the world, other than those selfish enough to postpone action and pass the burden down.

This is just too important to be delayed by the drag of climate change denial. It’s yet another good reason why Reform needs to be stopped from ever getting even a finger on the wheel of power. Suggesting that it’s just “too expensive “ to tackle climate change is populism at its worst. It needs to be exposed and will be. When people understand that Reform will roll back all that’s been done they will quickly become disillusioned.

Don’t be ridiculous. The only one trying to shut down the debate is he who doesn’t accept the diversion!

Climate change just being an excuse to raise tax is such a transparently silly argument I don’t think many need to read an answer. That doesn’t mean that silly arguments can’t be made though. That’s your decision!

The congestion charge is patently not a money making scheme when electric cars will be paying £11.25 to drive in London from next January.
