Should hopefully be strong enough to get 2-0 up then Lacroix, Clyne, Devenny, Esse, Uche to come on, give some key players a rest and kill the game.

I think the occasion will get to the home side. And I think we'll get an early goal (first 20mins).

This will relax the lads and we'll run out 0-3 or 1-3 comfortable winners. Maybe after a few hairy moments in our own box.

I'm not 100% sure why given his goal record, but I somehow have a feeling Uche will assist or score in the match.

In spite of being close to the bottom of the standings, they have only conceded 4 goals - the same as us. Could be another Larnaca, who, amazingly, haven't conceded a goal in the competition yet

An email from Shelbourne. The ground is a complete sell-out.
"A huge European night awaits us this Thursday as we take on Crystal Palace in the UEFA Conference League phase.
This is another massive night for the club and one for us all to look forward to. The support throughout this campaign has been superb and was highlighted with a record travelling Reds support in Alkmaar.
Tallaght Stadium will be at full capacity for the match "

This might be Shelbourne's biggest match in a lifetime. Although the match is full capacity, I would guess at least 50% of the crowd will be Palace. We have the away end, but it is likely Palace will completely occupy two other blocks. I think it's very much going to feel like a scaled-down Selhurst.

Could any fans be stupid enough to start handbags and get the local pubs shut pre and post match ?

It seems Glasner has been forced to field fringe and youth players. At last, the guy is following my advice. Palace, at a canter 1-2

Our next Conference League match coming up on Thursday, the knock to Munoz could come as a blessing in disguise giving him some much needed rest, so I'd like to see Clyne at RWB again. He did a very competent job against a decent Premier League team.
I'd say one of either Canvot or Sosa should be fielded as well and Eddie up front with Pino and Kamada behind.

We've struggled against lesser opposition in this competition so far but I think this time we'll manage a decent 2-0 win.
Thinking more or less the same , but we need to put this game to bed by 55 min then start giving players rest and others a good run out hopefully 4-0 , but we must win

I recall striker Mipo Odubeko from his time at Fleetwood.
He has the pace to run in behind the defence and has a good shot with both feet.
I also recall left-back James Norris who is on loan from Liverpool.Certainly a tenacious player.

Im wondering if there's a bug going around the team Wharton had now JP and Canvot , may explain drop in energy in last couple of games
It's a ploy for fielding fringe players. UEFA would sanction any club for fielding under-strength sides deliberately. Having A bug going around, is appropriate justification. A bit like when players swerve international friendlies
