Sutton quite nice about us. His criticism is the thinness of our squad. A comment oft made on here. And 1-0 defeat seems about right given we are in freefall and the morale must be rock bottom.
 
I wil be very happy with a draw. Think we are in free fall at mo with whats going on , a heavy defeat will be the end of OG 🫤
 
I would be surprised to get all 3 points what with all the stuff going with Glasner, the Macclesfield debacle, and Guehi leaving, but you never know. It's only a couple of weeks since we went toe to toe with high riding Villa, so all is not lost, although there is still that nagging worry about where goals are going to come from.
 
We are in the worst form in the division, losing our manager, lost our current best player, can’t score and just had the worst defeat in our history. So it would be the most Palace thing ever to get a 2-1 win
 
7-6 win. Surprise appearance by Marc Guehi who belts in six goals and signs a new contract. Winner from either Wharton or Henderson. Actually that's daft, definitely Henderson.

Certainly not a surprise that Glasner will be departing nor the fact that we would entertain selling Guehi in this 'Window' rather than him departing on a 'Free'.
We are of course in 'Free fall' and with Guehi not playing today, I am expecting a torrid afternoon against a Sunderland team unbeaten at home this season.

In view of the latest events how can anyone be optimistic?
So many imponderables.
1. How good is the team morale, especially after Macclesfield?
2. Guehi our kingpin gone, we have no replacement
3. Will Wharton and Pino step up and control the midfield, they haven't so far
4. Sunderland unbeaten at home

If we get a draw it will be a blooming miracle
 
Can't see anything other than a comfortable defeat. OG to depart soon after and Paddy in charge till the end of the season.
