The problem now is that Spurs are being linked with all the players we are allegedly after ! Our own stupid fault leaving it so late…we should have made sure we had Eze replaced tied up.

Eze hasn't gone yet. The agreement with Arsenal is an agreement in principle at this stage. He'll go once we have our replacement signed up. It is becoming increasingly clear that we needed to be sure that we had a firm sale agreed in principle before we could commit to bringing someone in.
 
Lets just wait for the window to end, i think 4 in, 2 bought 2 loans, 2 attackers, 1 CD, 1 RB.

Disagree deals done…he’s off and we have no replacement. Arsenal won’t wait and why should they ?
It will come down to a mad deadline day…until then our squad shrinks even further with 2 games a week.

You may say they have bought rubbish, but we were strongly linked with Ndoye, McAtee and Luiz and all three would walk into our squad.
We are not even standing still, we are falling behind.

I go back to the days of the Third Division South, the crowds of a few thousand, the administrations.
We have had just had our greatest of seasons, but football doesn't stand still.

A lot of these I think were purchased after Notts Forest got confirmation that their 'letter of clarification' to UEFA confirmed their place in the Europa League at our expense.

How are Forest not running afoul of PSR again? Over the past three years they have a net deficit of around £200 million on player purchases, despite a curious amount of business with Mr Textor's clubs over the last two seasons.
