Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

Reports are he's asking for £150k per week, which is why he has 't been picked up. If he drops that to a more reasonable amount, I'd imagine that sitting on our bench is unlikely to be his first pick so I reckon it's a non-starter.
This is similar to DK and his wages.
No signing on fee. Basically £5m a year for DKL over say 2 years would be good business imho. He can play, score goals and isn’t a selfish player from what I’ve seen. That could be negotiated down slightly with incentives for PL survival, cups, goals scored etc.
look what Eddie cost and on top dough I would think.

Not good enough for Everton !
And yet we make him our highest paid player 😂

With his injury record I wouldn't touch with a bargepole... Then you have the fact he's not actually been very good for 3 years.

Therefore I assume we'll announce the signing imminently and the physio team can greet him with open arms in the carpark and say how they can't wait to work with him every day over the next 3 years. "Hey Dominic, nice to meet you, would you like to have Connor Wickham or Nathan Ferguson's old locker?"

Textor, like him or loathe him was prepared to invest in our squad, something H,B and SP seem incapable of doing. The former for Investing in a non existent New Stand and picking up dividends. Are we just skint? No transfer war chest and a new Shareholder keeping his cash firmly in his wallet. I see a loan or two, a desperation last minute deal and the usual BS from SP about a difficult window/court case etc, etc, etc.

I suspect most Premiership clubs are playing accounting tricks with their solvency personally.

We are probably one of the few who aren't.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Nunez gets loaned to Newcastle this season. PIF ‘gift’ them the services of a £50m striker.

He's gone to Al Hilal for up to £56m (£46m fixed fee)

If that happens, the game is gone.

The FA and UEFA need to work out how to effectively police the game and cut out all the cheating. I normally dont get too bothered about it (inflated youth players, selling womans team etc) but with our demotion it just highlights how much of it goes on.

Exactly
So his new club also owns Newcastle, so join up the dots !
