Strasburg - Tickets / Travel / Accommodation / Meeting points / Local knowledge

That's the big question right now... The history is a bit complex, but a few years ago we went bankrupt and had to start from scratch, from the very bottom divisions.

We then climbed back up through all the divisions with a spirit of total unity between management and fans. The atmosphere was quite unique in France for several years, with a total connection between management, fans, and our ultra groups (UB90 is the main group) who sing throughout the entire match, win or lose. The Meinau is considered one of the best atmospheres in France, and we have a passionate fanbase. Now, with the Blueco takeover and the multi-ownership arrangement, things have changed a lot. On the one hand, we've never had so many financial resources compared to French clubs, which have many budget problems, but on the other hand, we're losing some of our independence and are largely controlled by decisions from London. This has created divisions among the fans between the "Anti" Blueco and the "Pro" Blueco. The ultras are overwhelmingly opposed to Blueco, while the general public appreciates the team's more competitive level... this has created many divisions we didn't have before and endless debates in our forums...

What's the best area for pre-match drinks that's close to a rail station to get to the stadium?
