Strasburg - Tickets / Travel / Accommodation / Meeting points / Local knowledge

That's the big question right now... The history is a bit complex, but a few years ago we went bankrupt and had to start from scratch, from the very bottom divisions.

We then climbed back up through all the divisions with a spirit of total unity between management and fans. The atmosphere was quite unique in France for several years, with a total connection between management, fans, and our ultra groups (UB90 is the main group) who sing throughout the entire match, win or lose. The Meinau is considered one of the best atmospheres in France, and we have a passionate fanbase. Now, with the Blueco takeover and the multi-ownership arrangement, things have changed a lot. On the one hand, we've never had so many financial resources compared to French clubs, which have many budget problems, but on the other hand, we're losing some of our independence and are largely controlled by decisions from London. This has created divisions among the fans between the "Anti" Blueco and the "Pro" Blueco. The ultras are overwhelmingly opposed to Blueco, while the general public appreciates the team's more competitive level... this has created many divisions we didn't have before and endless debates in our forums...

What's the best area for pre-match drinks that's close to a rail station to get to the stadium?

There are still plenty of tickets available. I had no trouble buying tickets in the home area and neither did others I know who missed out on our Away tickets.

this may go some way to answering that question. Everything thats wrong with modern football in a nutshell
Yes, that's a good article in English. There is only one thing that is a little bit misleading. The article suggest that blueco helped for the stadium renovation. But in fact this renovation was decided, signed and paid before blueco takeover on the club. Also it was paid mainly by public money of the city and district. For blueco it s a big win as they get an upgraded stadium from the start without paying anything

I have a ticket in the home end already purchased but might not need it now - is there anyone interested in purchasing this from me?

Ive not ordered any tickets so dont know Im doing the StayConference option

Oh, so you don't know if it will work or not. When you go to buy tickets on the Strasbourg website it asks for your home address irrespective of whether you have an "international debit card" or not which is where this falls down.

For the people who have purchased tickets, have they been issued to you digitally? - Have you been able to add it to your phone's wallet already?

Tickets are e-tickets and have not been emailed yet. From memory, when purchasing it says the tickets will be sent something like 48hrs before the match.

I’m of the impression they will be digital and able to be added to Apple or Google Wallet.

The ticket will be available for download from November 25. It can then be shown at the stadium via a wallet app or simply by opening the file. No need to worry, everything works very well.

Anyone on here know if Palace fans have a specific block they are targeting in the home end. I am likely to get a single ticket and would rather be near some Palace fans even if it's a subtle nod.

Looked at block 110 but concerned that the home fans may have ultras sat near the away section and don’t want to get caught up in anything.

Thanks
