Southport

No, a man of his principles.

The IRA were his friends.

My brother served over there, when it was really hot and a married in family member was in the military and knew some of the band members who were blown up in the Deal bombing.

The names of the dead Royal Marines were:

Msn Mick Ball, 24, Msn Andy Cleatheroe, 25, Msn Trevor Davis, 39, Msn Richard Fice, 22, Msn Richard "Taff" Jones, 27, Band Cpl David "Mac" McMillan, 26, Msn Christopher Nolan, 21, Band Cpl Dean Pavey, 31, Msn Mark Petch, 26, Msn Tim Reeves, 24 and Msn Bob Simmonds, 34.

21 were seriously wounded.

I don't forget my people.

Well yes, that's how principles work!

I believe that when you say someone is a man of principle it gives the impression that he is a man beyond reproach.

Some of Corbyn's principles are extremely controversial......They are centred in the far left. What I would agree with you on is that he is sincere and.....at least as far as I can tell honest. Those aspects are to be lauded.

Others are not.

I know it's about Southport but to end on this detour, I'll just say, no one has ever been arrested or convicted in connection with the Deal bombing.

But our revisionist uniparty government continues to prosecute the soldiers they put into harm's way.

My brother served over there, when it was really hot and he told me that they showed them photos of what the IRA had done before they went out and it had always stayed with him.....and he saw action in the first Gulf war and more than a few dead bodies. We also have a married in family member who was in the military and knew some of the band members who were blown up in the Deal bombing.

Nothing wrong with that.

The problems start when everyone else is disregarded.

Of course he's withdrawn his support 🤣

Unprincipled arsehole.

You mean he's a progressive, yeah it's the default.

He's a man of his own principles, and any conscience to the rights and wrongs with what he revealed in his message was obviously over-ridden by the hatred from the Owen Jones types in his ear after it.

Never mind, the future will treat them how they deserve.

Those who feel she should still be in prison and length of sentence was justified
If the time to be served with good behaviour is cut to 1/3rd, as was suggested today, she could be out on licence very swiftly. No doubt with restrictions on media stories etc.

If not the Prison Service may well grant a release under supervision on compassionate grounds. They won’t publicise it though. She should just quietly go home but on the understanding she doesn’t talk to the media.

Interesting that the Social workers dealing with her case, feel that she should not be in prison and one has quit after a disagreement with the prison governor ( over the case). I can’t find the post where you called her a racist ( you added another term but not sure what it was, perhaps horrible?), it would appear that the ethnic minority families, for whom she is a child minder wholeheartedly disagree with you, they have written a letter of support on her behalf, as their children love her and call her their English mum. Some have also visited her in prison.
She may well be released early, but the point still remains that the sentenced handed down was not commensurate with the “crime” compared to other offenders. If she is not released early she will serve longer than the Labour peer convicted of sexual assault, nothing two tier about our justice system?

He said it in Post #305 on the Tommy Robinson thread: " ... She was encouraging others to violence that could easily have caused deaths and is an unapologetic racist." [In another thread he excuses black racists in South Africa singing about machine-gunning white people!]

Whether commensurate or not is an opinion. Not a fact. The opinion of those in possession of the facts, and whose matter, was that it is. They sentenced her. Anything else is just opinion.

Everything you say was known to the Judge and taken into account. Judges administer the law. We, via our representatives, determine the law.

Read the transcript I referenced and the various quotes of what she has said in the past.

No amount of whitewashing can eliminate them.

Jo Brand said to a vast audience (not a handful on Twitter) that acid should be thrown at Nigel Farage - should she have been imprisoned?
