Why wouldn't I take it personally, mate? It's just not fair, balanced or impartial in my opinion.

Then, I make a comment on the Palace talk section and already Rolfie, quoting you, is calling me a looney-left gaslighter. A charge which I proved to be untrue, giving copious amount of proof but, for some unknown reason (certainly not the proof provided) you choose to reject it and still charge me with the 'gaslighting' smear.

When someone appears to come gunning for me like so, why wouldn't I take it personally?

Good. Whilst the British way is to normally light candles and deposit flowers at the scene, the authorities can continue to say lessons will be learned and go back to other things. i would expect most of the family members of the victims to have been rioting. Locals all. And honestly, i cannot blame them

Surely to God, you're not telling me that, even upon reading just this small selection, you believe that:

I don't think anybody on here has said burning down a hotel is justified.

incitement is for acts in the future, going forward. Unlike my words above. A bit like me saying "well i can understand why the Senators murdered Julius Caesar - especially when you consider his long catalog of crimes against them". Very different to incitement.

and anyway, how would you feel if it was your daughter that got murdered by a nutter ? with the Authorities having ignored all the previous red-flags ?

Have you never noticed the hypocrisy of politicians ? them criticizing a parent defending their kid from a bully, while those same politicians send thousands of armed soldiers into genocidal faraway action ?

In the original set of posts in that thread, I wrote about people 'championing' the riots and it's been crystal clear, looking all those comments that were many on here who were championing, mitigating or excusing the rioting that took place.

quite the contrary. Hitler benefitted greatly from the burning of the Reichstag parliament.....it allowed his monstrous power-grab.

There have been dodgy burnings of refugee-buildings recently here in ireland, with many commentators speculating on the motives of whoever did the burning.
