I agree, I also think Glasner prefers it when all the media talk and hype is about everyone else. Lets quietly go about our business. Prepare well and walk quietly confident out on to that Wembley pitch.
I saw a clip on GSS yesterday where Clinton Morrison was talking Palace's chances down. Was almost wetting himself about the quality and pace in Villa's team. Completely dismissing our 2 wins and a draw against them claiming Villa weren't fielding their best team in those games. Really? So the Prem doesn't matter to them? Neither does the last 16 of the League cup? Rubbish.
I'm quite happy to keep hearing this kind of elitist claptrap all the way up to the semi. Keeps all the pressure on Villa.

That is exactly what we want their mentality to be. We thrive as underdog and if we can start better than at Fulham, hold on when they go for us, frustrate them, and then get the goal they will collapse mentally as they have had the last couple of times

Frankly the Preston second team held them off easily enough (first half) and could have been 1 up at half time. Lots of egos.

Good players too at Villa, clearly. But we can beat them. Stay strong. Counter. Victory.

Totally unfair Villa get to play Tuesday giving them an extra day’s rest while we play Wednesday and then Saturday. I will be very disappointed if the club meekly accepts this.

No real point in moaning about it. Glasner could play some fringe players against Arsenal.
I think it works out slightly more evenly for Palace and Villa. Both teams will play 4 matches from Saturday 12th of April.
Forest however play on the 12th then their next match is the 21st before a run out against City who will play on the 12th, 19th and 22nd.
Would have been more uneven if Forest drawn against Palace or Villa!

prob true, but I think we'll see a stronger Villa than we did in our first three games, their January additions have given them real impetus, Ascencio and Rashford have really hit form and their squad depth means they can cope being in three competitions without weakening their team too myuch at all. They will rotate though and while their fans will prioritise the cup the club may prioritise the money that comes with Champions League more. Even so with midfield options like Rogers, Kamara, Ascencio, Tielemans, McGinn and Barkeley we'll have a job on our hands whomever Emery picks. But we've won 2 out of 3 so nothing to fear, but I think this will be the toughest of our four games.
