Semi Final Ticket Queue

I got two tickets but the entire thing was a nonsense.

Due to work meetings I could only join the queue at 09:50 whereas my cousin had already been in there for 20 minutes. Yet when 10am rolled round I was 9000 in the queue and he was 21000.

I proceeded to wait 20 minutes to get to the front and was immediately told there was a time out error. I nearly gave up but figured I'd give it another go so clicked to log in again and it took me immediately into the ticket selection, where I got them. Clearly just lucky.

I feel extremely sorry for loyal season ticket holders who missed out and, having been through similar nonsense trying to get Oasis tickets last year, wonder how long until somebody makes an actually viable system for getting tickets to big events.

A useful thing to know if once you are at the front of the queue you have ten mins to purchase, so if the timeout happens (which seemingly it nearly always will if youā€™ve been on the site for more then 2 mins lol) you can just log back in and immediately get access to tickets (so long as you are in the ten min window). Worth bearing in mind for the final if we make it.

while there were supposedly 27K people ahead of me at 10am, I too had to join a work meeting and didn't get a chance to log back in until closer to midday. I then got straight in to the ticket page and didn't have to queue. Yeah there were only seats in the upper tier, but it was pretty stress free. Beats having to camp overnight in the Sainsburys car park! Main thing is I have the tickets for me and the kids and we're going to Wembley!

Curious to know whether there will be any left for regular members on Monday

I was fortunate that both my brother and I are ST+ holders which meant buying our tickets on Thursday. I joined the queue at c 9.35am only to read that those of us in the "waiting room" (i.e. in the queue prior to 10.00am launch) would be allocated a place in the buying queue at random, so no benefit in signing in early. I was something like no 2960 but had tickets sorted and bought by 10.20.

HOWEVER,
  1. I think it was unfair to place all us ST+ holders ahead of ST holders who have many more points than us (I only have 5000).
  2. I found the actual process of choosing seats confusing. It took me a good 5 minutes to work it all out.
  3. for future reference, it's worthwhile going to the Wembley site and looking at the stadium map and seeing what the views are like from different seats in the stadium. I only did that AFTER I'd bought our tickets. Fortunately, I'd chosen reasonably placed seats.
Hopefully, (assuming we get to the final), it will be a better experience buying tickets next time.

The way the club has done this is totally wrong.
my phone reset when there were 5000 in front of me at about 10.15 Friday and then when I got back in there were 20000. I wanted to buy the Ā£120 tickets around the 200 blocks.
By the time I got to the queue at 10.45 the only 3 together I was being offered were in the 500 blocks for Ā£70. And now I see touts selling the seats I wanted to buy in the first place who I assume were all sold to ā€œnew membersā€.
If Parrish had any balls he would find out who they are and cancel the memberships. If we do win the semi final he needs a massive re think. ST holders have 100% priority. Then longstanding Gold members with points.

can any one help by putting the outstanding seats left on the map up as I canā€™t seem to do it on the website I am hoping to get a ticket tomorrow as a member thanks

Each of the blue segments are part of the Palace allocation & each segment has maybe 30 - 45% of seats remaining, but the remaining seats in almost all cases start from about halfway up the segment
(Remaining seats are getting further away from the pitch / higher up towards the gods)

Exactly, if itā€™s not this for the final and season ticket holders miss out, SP had probably be better not turning up for the next home game, theyā€™ll be some pretty angry people around.

For those of us who slept overnight in the car park and then queued until the afternoon for Final tickets in '91 I'm not sure if there will be too much sympathy.

Getting tickets for anything these days is a bit of a farce.

Were you queueing for the ZDS Cup Final?

If it was for the Fa Cup I take my hat off to you for both your commitment to the cause and your stamina!

But it does beg the question of at which point do you stop trying to get tickets and accept defeat.
Surely 7 or 8 months of camping out at the Box Office was a tad extreme!!

Long time reader of the forum but never posted before. Just after a bit of advice. Trying to make sense to ticketing ... do I have to sign up to the club membership for Ā£25 to get a chance to buy a ticket in the general sale tomorrow?

Any thoughts on what the availability would even be like in the general sale tomorrow? I'm just after a cheap seat.

Good luck with ticket buying to everyone else. šŸ‘šŸ»

I lived in South Norwood at the time and was obviously 35 years younger so queueing over night seemed like a doddle, but I need my bed and sleep now and I certainly couldnā€™t go through the night without needing to pee, probably more than once šŸ¤£

To be eligible for the above phases, supporters must have purchased their Season Ticket+ or Membership before 12:00 BST on Wednesday, 9th April 2025 and have a previous purchase history prior to the 28th March 2025.

Singing up for any membership today will give you a chance to grab a resale ticket to home match v Bournemouth. Last time I've checked there were some available. A great way to start supporting the club live.

Have been trying to purchase a ticket since becoming available to session tickets holders. From day 1 ā€˜This event is not available to youā€™ has been shown. Tried various browsers, rang several times, emailed the box office with no success. Will be coming down to Selhurst tomorrow after a night shift in Essex to visit the Club Shop.. to say Iā€™m not best pleased is putting it mildly šŸ¤Ø

Give me a break, I'm old.

Of course, it was '90. The ZDS cup did not involve camping.
